Tetsuo wants nothing more than to surpass akira once he realizes Akira rivals he power...how can you say he wants to be normal. It isn't until he loses control that he wants to return to his normal human self.

@manzigcantfail Not sure I agree there. Tetsuo wants people to stop attacking him. As he awakens to the power, he interprets his visions of Akira and his future as Akira "invading his head". Tetsuo then responds the only way he knows to such perceived attacks. His true feelings are revealed about 26mins into the film, when he is sitting with Kaori after escaping the hospital, and he says he wants to go "somewhere far away".

Have you ever seen the movie ?! if yes, did you really think of its paradigm ?! To my mind, this is a perfect work of art, not only in term of technic of drawing, color, narrative, screenplay... But it is intelligent (not to say brilliant) and intelligible. The music is perfect, on its own as integrated in the film. It seems to me that you have no respect at all for this piece

Finally, someone that can make a good AMV. Sorry, a great AMV. The majority of AMV's on youtube are terrible, and have unfitting songs. This one is really good, especially because the song fits with the scenes you put in it.

i totally agree. Most youtube amv's are crap, but vilbobaggins666's is an exception. Good job! I especially love the fact that you synced up the "ouch" after the gut scene. Most people (myself included) would have put "ouch" during it, rather than afterward. (go to 1:23-1:26 to see what I'm talking about)

Kool. Iv seen this movie in school and my media teacher said the graphic novel had more sexual related thems (the kid at the end who turned out to be a giant blob monster waz on E and had naughty time with that asain chick) it was a good movie. Anyhow sweet vid 5/5 It waz fun seeing that whole mind power fight sence with those 3 creepy kids again
