By far the greatest love I've ever heard in my entire life of anyone calling my name out happened in a restaurant many years ago, and it was a dude I knew from high school that I hadn't seen in a couple of years. Amazing. To hear the tone of love and sincerity in that guy's voice only to then discover in less than one minute into our conversation that his "love" was based on getting me into his silly Amway scam. (And I'm not gay, btw.) A lesser man than me would have killed himself.

@MLMsellsSnakeOil that is precisely what differs Amway from a conventional business. it is not like any other MLM either because downline can actually end up making more money than people above. virtually all those downline dont make money is true. because they quit while the others dont stay down there for long because they succeed and make money out of it. But if a corporation and a minimum wage is more for you then by all means go and get a job. or sell more snake oil! its choice in the end.
@willpower110 It isn’t the Pyramid shape of the org. that is important, but the endless chain of recruitment of participants as primary customers. MLM plans require the climbing of a pyramid in order to make enough money to profit to any significant degree. But unlike a corporate pyramid, in MLM and other types of pyramid schemes, virtually all of those at the bottom (the "downline") lose money (some a lot of money), where in a corporation, those at the bottom at least get a minimum wage.

Never had a amway person approach me to sell me their products, just by into their MLM. If the products are so fantastic then sell them, and don't make me pay to join your organization and dupe other people into the same...

Actually it costs about $165.00 total. Because everything is packaged and shipped directly from the distributor to the customer. So you do not have to worry about having to maintain an inventory.
Hmmmm. I dont sell Amway's products. I use them. I wouldnt have done this if i didnt think it worked. I have met too many people in my organization who have retired from doing this within 5 years of starting (corporate engineers, dentists, doctors...etc)

It doesnt work the way they show it. u need to have gud time or a circle. its not easy to show plans with loads of work on ur head n financial struggles. u need to spin some of ur money as in any business n it def takes substantial time to earn gud amounts. dont get carried away by the success stories n millionaire dreams. if u r very patient to spend time n some capital amount u might achieve a basic earning position in about 3yrs. do not dream of quick money or instant success.
Ive done Amway, it is hard to sell these products, no one really wants them, or wants to bother with them. And then you have to sell them over and over again each month to the person. It did not work out too well for me. Ok heres the deal about Amway, They have Affiliate Marketing Agreements with other companys, and they have YOU sell the products (thus doing the work for them) the money goes to them and they give you a slight cut, THEREFORE you should start your own company, get the Affiliate marketing Agreements yourself (easy) BUT if your an IBO in amway you cant do this because on the CONTRACT it states you cant compete with them or start your own similar company for 2 years AFTER you quit. just my 2 cents.
@KirkhamsEbooks well considering that I just stated you cant compete with amway because on contract you have to wait TWO years after you quit to do what I just stated. so im just focusing on a career because theirs nothing much one can do under the terms of a contract.
@goten360 you do realize that by the time you purchase domain rights, business validations, licensing, overhead and stock you would already be down thousands of dollars in profit. Keep in mind that amway has over 80+ partner stores such as BestBuy, Petco...etc. I agree that the %'s they pay you back for buying their products is alittle whack at times but if you treat it like a real part-time job your business will end up paying you more than any job with a ceiling wage could.
@Shend1g Thats not necessary with affiliate marketing agreements, your thinking of actually opening up a physical building business, and domain rights come with the website once you create one via go daddy or other host sitings. keep in mind that amway didnt get those 80+ 'partner' stores at once, we all start someone, you just need to make a call and do it yourself. and look if you get 6 people and dedicate them to something YOU started up, than i guarantee you'll make hell of a lot more money

Like I mentioned, I've used Amway's laundry detergent some time ago which was around $30 and when I used it with the laundry, it seems to have the same results as when using tide. it wasn't any better but it wasn't bad, i'll give it that. Overall, i'll buy tide over amway's laundry detergent and save money. If you find it better than okay, good for you.
also, i'm gonna assume you work for amway since your asking me if I ever used their products. Do you guys offer protein supplements for people who work out at a gym? If it's better than the stuff they have at GNC and is reasonably priced, i'll consider buying it and i'll even consider buying them from you.
