Actually the entire band states that the Subterranean EP was the last of the "projects." The band got tired hiring session drummers and vocalists, and got Anders and Bjorn into the band. The Jester Race was the first cd where the band was an ACTUAL BAND not a PROJECT.
Then again, maybe they are dumb and pretty stupid if they think that too.

Of course they sell more cds! as I said before: Then they became mallcore pop rock (and very commercial oriented).
Want to listen REAL metal? Listen to Dimension Zero, Jesper's project, tha's the true "In Flames" sound. (and that's the reason I still respect Jesper).

IT'S Anders, this show was recorded a long time ago, when they were playing their Jester Race stuff (although they played Jester Race and Dead God in Me on the last Canada tour)...

Colony is 100% in flames, and so are Lunar Strain and so are A Sense of Purpose.
Björn did some songwriting already on the jester race, and the reason why the sound has changed a bit is because they are all creative people with abilities to make different music.

The name Jotun comes from a giant with that name. And im not sure, but there might be some connection with jotunheimen in norway...which is a mountain chain
In Norse mythology Jötunheimr is the land of the giants. The whole song is a comparison between the detached nature of ever-expanding cityscapes and the nature of the mythical evil giants.
Well, In Flames was an underground metal sensation in about 10 years before Anders got his dreads and they turned all mainstream. I'm not bashing them, I think Reroute to Remain and Come Clarity are good albums with some great songs on them. But this style appeals to me more (and STYE is abmysal).
"hargalaten" is a swedish folk song, and pallar anders visa im not really sure. but i think its a folk song to, i dont know if folk songis the right word but its like an old song from sweden. and i dont know what jotun means :P

I love all of their songs.. but I don't know, in concerts I don't think playing slow songs like these.. would be... enough to make me mosh the fuck out of them.
In a rock concert, I want fast riffs that gets your blood pumping. I love Moonshield because of the riffs, but not my type of concert song. :\

Colony is 100% in flames, and so are Lunar Strain and so are A Sense of Purpose.
Björn did some songwriting already on the jester race, and the reason why the sound has changed a bit is because they are all creative people with abilities to make different music.

The name Jotun comes from a giant with that name. And im not sure, but there might be some connection with jotunheimen in norway...which is a mountain chain

In Norse mythology Jötunheimr is the land of the giants. The whole song is a comparison between the detached nature of ever-expanding cityscapes and the nature of the mythical evil giants.

Well, In Flames was an underground metal sensation in about 10 years before Anders got his dreads and they turned all mainstream. I'm not bashing them, I think Reroute to Remain and Come Clarity are good albums with some great songs on them. But this style appeals to me more (and STYE is abmysal).

"hargalaten" is a swedish folk song, and pallar anders visa im not really sure. but i think its a folk song to, i dont know if folk songis the right word but its like an old song from sweden. and i dont know what jotun means :P

Pallar Anders Visa - "Anders the Thief's Song", but the word "pallare" is usually used to describe a guy who steals apples... I dunno...
Jotun is a Giant in Scandinavian mythology (known as Jötunn in Scandinavia).
