  • how do you exspect it to me in tune with your tesla if the morot is batter or dc powerd. to be in tune the motor must run on ac and be an inductive motor

  • instead of using wires to connect the flying electrodes and having the stationary ones opposite edges of the disk. use nice thick brass bolts and have the electrodes ether side of the disk so it goes through the bolt..

    a static is enough, i've got one stativ with 5gaps at 7,5kV and about 100-120mA and it fits quite good.

    this rotary spark gap is so difficult to get the electrodes in a good position.

  • do you build a DC Tesla? If not, take a normal spark gap, otherwise it wont be very good.
