god this was a fun fight x_x only did it as ret though, although we did it with a paladin as MT and druid and warrior if i recall tanking in elementalphase. We had a paladin as MT for more or less each and every first down we did (including Archimonde :o) was before they removed the attunement, and also downed illi before the shear-nerf, everything in BT tanked by our pwnadin ^__^

Your an idiot if you think that. Main pally healer in my guild can heal for 9 minutes straight with no mana pots or using divine plea. also no replenshiment.

your comment is stupid priest healers aren't best they are actuly THE woriest healers in Wotlk Paladin can spamm HoL/FoL as long as he wants and now with BoL healin for fully so you spamm boL on their tanks mt and its easy while priest goes oom so quickly can't last 1 boss fight or well they can but they lose to much mana

You obviously haven't played a Disc priest.

@penguinpolice1 mate at wotlk i had a disc priest with 35k mana and ks at the and of the fight with LK i had 15-20 mana shadowfieald of CD . holy is the healing spec(priest) that has a bit problem with the mana;)

If you're intelligently setup yeah.

I had:

1) a shadowpriest in group

2) some decent crit pieces like the s1 gloves with the 2% FoL bonus

3) a pot every single time it's up starting with as soon as my mana went low enough that it wouldn't be wasted

4) Blessing of sacrifice on my tanks so that I took as much damage as possible so that I'd get mana from others healing me

All of this is radically different now since 3.0. I really hate the 1 pot per fight limit, as both healer and tank

The Archimond fight is MUCH more difficult then the illidan fight. pre nerf and post nerf

He's the MT. Illidan has an ability called drawn soul. 

From Wowhead: Draw Soul: Damages all frontal targets in a 70 degree angle for 5000 shadow damage as well as healing Illidan himself for 100,000 health.

That ability shows up on recount as healing done, so the MT always looks like that. It does not show up in WWS, though.

You should aim to stay around 2000 +healing in BT. Naj'entus (the first boss) is pretty easy, just a pure gimmick fight.

You'd be fine with like 1800.

As for haste on a priest, I'm not really sure there. If you're a CoH priest you'll be casting a lot of that. Spell haste does reduce the global cooldown, but it's not significant enough to stack if instant casts are your main usage. Got Flash and Gheal spam sure it'd be good, but remember it eats a LOT of mana.

Yeah I was MT/GM of the guild I had Sobre in before this one, I actually never had to respec, because everyone always needed me to tank stuff hehe. Major tank shortage on my server.

My HD died so I've lost a lot of work that I may never get back, which is lame considering I've only posted tanking vids of ZA T_T Looks like all I do is heal, heh.

A few reasons:

1) I currently have to respec at least 5 times a week, sometimes 2 times in the same raid. Because of this, I use a slightly different version of my pvp spec to heal so that I can pvp without respeccing.

2) To prove it is a viable healing spec, even in PvE.

3) It's nice to be able to provide imp SotC for the raid (3% spell and melee/ranged crit for every dps in the raid) even with my healing spec.

4) For lulz. This it the most important reason. By far.
