Special forces join up for it, no they can stop at anytime, and there are restrictions on how long they can be kept in those positions.
On the other side alot of completely innocent Iraqi's where put in these positions, they have no idea how long it will go on for, and where kept like that often for hours.

Thats been known for a long time. A person under duress will say anything you want them,regardless if its true. While I don't believe wars can be won by kindness in its entirety, showing compassion to them even when they have done terrible things, while in custody, is the human thing to do.

Why do civilians need to worry how the CIA gets the information that goes toward preserving the lives of Iraqi and Afghan civilians, US troops, and US civilians? Let em do their job.
