given that the video quality itself is very low (too dark setting) and it takes a bit of time to compose, shoot and shoot again adding a voice over or captions - means TRANSLATING from ASL to English which is a hefty task
A totally unrelated question really but is facial expressions part of the sign language deaf use? like how would you perceive a sign language conversation while not being able to see the other persons face?

Yes facial expressions are a huge part of sign language's grammar and convey semantics and affect syntax etc
Deaf folks can still understand a signed message without facial expression but its not natural and more work
