The locomotives and carriages in my neck of the woods have absolutely no personality or class whatsoever. Not only are the present diesels on my Long Island Rail Road not much to look at, but they literally break down on a daily basis after less than a decade of service.
I consider the HSTs as almost the railway equivalent of the Concord SST jet in terms of its significance to engineering and prestige.

Not the best of days for clarity but quite a good effort - Yes tripod would have bee ideal - maybe next year ?
