Ok yes it was not a fair goal but I noticed a few things, first for the people saying the ref wasnt in the proper position I disagree the way the play generated that was the best position and the rule says if a ref loses sight of the puck he can blow the whislte regardless of where it is and secondthere is also a rule about intent to blow the whilstle by the ref but because he had his whistle to his mouth before the play on net and didnt blow it during the duration of it is has to be a goal

Let's be realistic here. We all posses some level of intelligence. Let's put the homerism aside for a moment and look at this fairly. Bob Errey himself said there was no way that should have been a goal. I may be a Penguins fan, but I'm a fan of hockey and I believe in the rules. That was not a fair goal. There was no way the referee was able to see that puck as he stood behind Carey Price and the puck was trapped on his pad and then under his glove.

@nevertweet015 The rule is that once sight of the puck is lost, which it was for a solid 2 seconds, teh refs are supposed to blow the whistle. This could have easily been goaltender interference too, as form the overhead view you can see neal dragged prices left pad with his skate.

The whistle should've been blown but it wasn't. Remember that old saying "play until you hear the whistle". The Pens did that. The Pens worked their asses off this entire game only for Price to continuously stand on his head. Price and Fleury were really good in this game. This was a great game in general. It sucks the refs blown call is what is being talked about.

But, the Habs have to play to the whistle, and they should have known better. Hal Gill was the biggest culprit, and he's done that before.
