It would be easier for Germans to learn Japanese than Native English speakers because the German and Japanese languages have the same sentence structures: SOV. In Japanese, the verb goes at the end practically always, which it frequently does in German but rarely ever does in English. The Japanese sentence structure would come more natural to a German native while and English speaker (like me) would take much more time to adjust.
