I don't see how dudes could think Ricky was going to be a bust in the NBA. He's been playing at this level forever. He's probably reigned his game in if anything, taking less risks. This is still a much better mix than what he's put together in MIN so far, and he's been pretty sensational.

@mjkingofmusicmj Europe is different, players here average 3 assist in NBA average 7 or 8 , is a different game, and only play the star max 28 min and rubio played 20 or minus.Enjoy Ricky Rubio is a different player, this is the point.

@danix117 pistol pete may have brought this type of basketball to mainstream america (and beyond possibly), but don't fool yourself into thinking he invented it. A lot of things in American culture were inspired by Black culture and ideas. I'm not knocking an obviously talented player, just stating what often goes unsaid.

@danix117 .........Pistol Pete is my second favorite player for me, but Rubio is a great player and have things from Pistol like his intensity and passion, his assist....Magic learn from Pistol and Rubio I think have the most beauty assist today in the NBA since Magic, no look pass every time, half court pass, from his back...alley oops...is a spectacular player and a great stealer....Pistol was a scorer...Rubio can score maybe in his best seasson 14 points?Rubio is a different player likePistol
