  • chapeau très joliiiiiiiiiiii merci pour le partage

  • Dude.... I'm a fan of yours now... :D

  • Do you have sheets or did you just play by ears?

  • What keyboard is this ? And could you give the music sheet ? Great video !

  • Was there a reason that you play this in D , rather than E like the original....but absolutely beautiful....I want to learn your style in E though..I am now a fan of yours...awesome.

  • @fitmlong No real reason - I just didn't check before I started bashing it out. I wish I had checked because this version is a bit low-sounding and could have done with being a bit higher.

  • Hi, Paul .... love your style.. what brand of keyboard are you playing?

    Kudos from Arizona, USA

  • This is the most accurate version here on you tube :)

  • Thanks SOOO much for this superb instrumental!!! I used it to sing over....check out my cover if u get the chance!! Hope i did ur piano skills justice ;-)

PS I would really appreviate if u could cover paul weller- you do something to me....and Bobby caldwell - What you won't do for love!!! I'd love to sing over those!!

  • i love it. i wish i could play as good as you. but when i play i watch people and copy. i guess i'm learning. lol great job.

  • I'm almost 28 and have been playing piano and guitar since first grade. Nowadays, if I decide to learn a song on the fly, it still takes me over a week until I'm really comfortable with it. I'm surprised you haven't yet been recruited to play piano for some of the artists you cover.

  • @5ivepdx Most of the time when you see people playing keyboards for a band what they're playing isn't actually very hard. Many competent keyboard players could do it easily. It tends to be more to do with personal connections as to who gets to play.

  • I never knew that was the name of that song..... I hear it playing all the time, but I just didn't know the name of it.......

    GREAT song.

    You're good

  • nice!!)

  • I would love to hear you play it with an "electric piano" voice. By the way, maybe your a long lost cuz of mine. Just kidding, but, who knows?

  • Electric piano works well with percussion but I find it's a bit too smooth and even on its own. Yes there are a few Wells around but not that many that it isn't surprising to encounter another.

  • whether it's E or D it doesn't matter. this is just good. maybe u should upload ur own u know...

    with E... how about ?

  • I guess it only matters if you're trying to figure it out. Do you carry that negative crap around with you all the time or just from time to time?

  • Bravo, bravo!

  • just great Paul! Are you playing that in the key of D? Does Clapton play it in E? thanks......really great style

  • awesome!

  • please tell us the chords...

  • I'll set the software up again for tutorials some time in the next couple of weeks and I'll include this song.

  • Hey! How do you like your RD? What settings do you tweak? In the video it seems like you took of the effects? I don't see the buttons lit up

  • if u dont have it as a mp3 , i am a software devoloper so i can tell u how

  • words cant describe how much i love this video i honistly think that this is the best, out of the somwat 20,000,000 videos on youtube yours it the best.

*ps do u have the MP3 of this vid, if do pls tell me

  • i saw this vid. about 2 mounths ago, i have been goeing back to it ever since, IT IS THAT GOOD

  • awesome!

  • I think you are really good! Would you please do a tutorial? I would be so happy!

  • Paul. How about copying the ending to the live version of "Layla"..i.e. the one from the "Live Aid"gig in America.!

  • Steve Siu is a master a unique piano arrangements of all kinds of music. Frankly, the drum machine doesn't do his talent justice, but as a piano/composer myself, I know some songs just need the rhythm behind the melody ... Steve, you are amazing!

  • amasing unbleveable this is goeing in my favorites

  • Hi Bondman, thanks for favoriting this vid. Glad you like it.

  • this is probably one of the best things on the piano ive heard in a while and you should take it from me im a gifted musision, well not so much on the spelling part

  • beautiful!!

  • Hey man that was briliant,i'm a huge fan of Eric Clapton,is it posible that u can share the notes with me?

  • Hi Andrew,

I am going to start demos very soon.

    Paul

  • briliant

  • I'd be fine with the same angle just with chords and notes stated and their relationship to the location of middle C since the over head view isn't an option. But its just a thought

  • Do you play by ear? I have been playing for years and am nowhere near that good lol

  • Hi Lymingeman, I can read music but for most of what I post here I just play along with the track until I get something which hangs together well enough to call a performance. I have to say that I think that my playing has probably got a lot better in the last two years since buying a good instrument.

  • Great job. Do you have any plans of doing a tutorial so some of us lesser skilled folk could benefit :)

  • I have thought about it. The main problem is that I have started making these videos using my laptop's built in camera, and a tutorial needs a camera mounted above the keyboard.

  • Absolutley superb! Im envious lol

  • tx :)

  • its awesome man!

  • Hey Sean, good to hear from you. Thanks very much :) glad you liked it.
