@ashley778909 this turtle isnt that old trust me(maybe ten years at most and in the wild they live for a long time) I used to have one until I set him free 4 years ago and trust me this turtle could of really hurt these dogs more than they could of hurt it because all it would have to do is retreat fully in it's shell after biting one of them or if he would of tried to snap at them but he was probably only thinking of a way to get out of that situation.

One dog got bit in the nose, but contrary to popular believe this turtles bit hard than let go If they cannot hold ground, once the dog pushed it it let go plus they have the reflect to retract back the head, however the bite its painfull depending on size,can cut deep or even take fingers. I have many and, they are easy to catch too. I dont eat them, they stink, carry parasites and the fat in the meat is highly toxic, it must be prepared by someone experience or you will get sick.

@rabbidfantis the common snapping turtle and the Alligator snapping turtle are 2 seperate species, however both are protected throughout most of thier range. People probably shouldn't film thier dogs attacking one and then post it, on legal legal grounds, if not ethical.
