you know times like that were some of the best times of my life of course I didn't go to Huntsville but I did go to Crosby High school in crosby tx and at that time we had one of the greatest band directors in the world and he still is just now he is at huntsville. the things he taught us we still use most of it to day in our everyday lifes he belived in all of us and I thank him cause most of us would not be where we are today if not for him
Aww i miss it so much, i remember this day like it was yesterday and the seriousness in mr luggerio's face! I miss it so much!-ShaniQua Tuba section leader class of 08'
Even though I was the product of corps-style marching in high school and college, I love nothing more than a smartly executed military marching drill. I'm glad that there are high schools out there that still maintain the tradition of countermarching. No useless drill team, no random shapes. Just precision and class.
luggerio? damn he was crosbys director. crosby went to shit so he left, crosby came back up after bird came. now were amazing, see huntsville at area.:D
This is absolutely SPECTACULAR!!! I come from the PT Military band (we did Viking this year!), but our drill was NOTHING compared to yours. Congrats on a great performance!
i marched this show...i remeber that day like it was yesterday. i was so proud and yess it is a highschool band and let me tell u i loved it. love u hmb keep the pride and see u all soon..HMB FOR LIFE BABY...LOL
@isntthisacrapysn um this is a high school band lol they're in our division too. yah i kno wat ur thinking. SCARY! lol haha its okay tho cus im from MONTGOMERY BABAY! and we r kinda awesome :)
Great job, it looks great it reminds me of Miss. Baker when I watch this. ((Anyone who is from this area and was a band member would know who she is. She is one of the top band director in the state if not the Country.))
Great job guys...I grew up and still live in Killeen, where we did Military Style marching in high school(back in the 70's) It's great to see the tradition being upheld. The pride in your band is obvious! Hope it stays this way!
This really brings back a lot of memories seeing these military-style bands. It's FAR superior to the drum/bugle corpse style garbage so prevalent today.!

I would expect nothing less than such excellence from a band directed by Nick Luggerio.
He's very familiar with outstanding military programs...Kingwood included.

Shows these days need to be more fundamental and traditional like this. They're too flashy, and honestly too confusing.
There's too much cover ups for error in modern shows with the curves and unusual shapes. These marchers are hardcore and skilled.

5:15 - Indiana, Our Indiana. Did one of your directors go to Indiana? Anyway, great job, y'all. Gotta love East Texas 6 to 5.
bstuts7914 3 years ago
Indiana,Our Indiana was taken from the melody of the trio of The Viking March by Karl King.
