I am Sry to Say that the car has been in the Dealer for a whole month now, because it blew 2 camshafts. the dealer say's its not available, so he will order it from other countries.

their service has been very annoying, and am actually gonna sell the car, because if further problems happen, i won't wait months for them each time things blows up.

+ they said the camshafts were blown from about 10,000 km. and my full service ended 7,000 km ago. So i think they knew it was broken and scammed me.

Mine happily crossed 120,000 Km with no repairs needed at all other than regular oil and filters cleaning.

I would really like one, but in Denmark the taxes for cars is 180%, which means, that if the car costs 10000 dollars in the US it costs 28000 dollars in Denmark - and gasoline prices is now over 7,5 dollars to the gallon, so it's somehow expensive. Shame!

@fordfreak17 :D, actually American cars are the safest vehicles that i trust to get for my family, neither japanese or german or korean do the work i need, so i think Ford is my choice whenever i need it, and thanks to the good quality the car has, i havent had any problem in any part, even after a serious accident the car was slightly damaged compared to the toyota that crashed me (his bumper reached his dashboard). So i think this is my car forever :D. and am planning to buy the new SHO taurus

Hey Yamenad, thanks for the suggestion. The sand in Liwa is fine and smooth too.. It was fun but no camels to sit on.. I was hoping to sit on a camel in the desert but it didn't happen :|.. Hopefully, Dubai desert is the correct one.

أخوي الأدفانس تراك يفصل تلقائيا عند اختيار 4L بالإضافة إلى نظام حد طاقة المحرك، و لكن إذا استعملت 4A or 4H يمكنك فصل هذه الأنظمة عبر الضغط على (زر السيارة المنزلقة) لمدة 5 ثواني، و إنشاء الله بيسير الموتر على راحته في الصحراء، بس اتذكر تنسيم الطارات لل17 أو 20.

Car off roading setup: tires pressure deflated until 17 psi.

And use 4A or 4H.

there's also actually a tour company that's using ford expeditions, so i don't think you need further proof that the expedition can hack it in the desert.

Hey, I also have a 2008 Ford Expedition XLT but with 18 in rims which is better because it allows for more deflation. Looks to me like you have 20s on. Frankly, I've been on more extreme dune bashing than what your videos are showing especially around Area 53, if you've been there. My mates have been generally impressed by the power of the Expedition and how it can generally get itself out of situations. Only problem is that the front bumper is too low which is why I got myself a lift kit.

And in my opinion I think that the ford expedition is wayy better than the chevy tahoe. I think it has better features, handling, and is alot smoother. i did before i tired it, and i saw that power is more than enough, and the electronic features are very balanced offroad ( i mean driving aids), and you cant feel a thing even when u are in desert, thanks to the air suspention.
