Dave's a hot guy & an awesome guitarist & musician but like Flea said, his sound just wasn't the peppers. Listening to One Hot Minute, it's like not even the peppers, i don't like that album much just because I don't get that wierd high/vibe that i get from any other album.

Does anyone know the name of the show or where it was played when Hillel is playing that scratch melody at the :14 sec mark? Would anybody know the name of that song. Oh and I agree with cookiemonster, Dave definately helped the chili peppers make it through those awkward 1993-96/7 years. Without him they might not have done so well, or maybe the could have and just went a totall different direction. Oh well, I'm glad they didnt. John is the poop.

Much love to Dave and all but if nothing else this show proves that the Peppers replaced people as needed but kept producing quality music.If Hillel didn't break them,and John didn't,Dave could'nt have.They all eventually helped each other as people,

that's probably why they're still successfull.
