Was Christianity the faith that the Saviour brought ?

Was Christianity the faith that the apostles and early believers practiced? I know the UPC says they are the ORIGINALS - teaching from the book of Acts. @SmallSojourner UPC teaches EXACTLY what the Apostle's doctrine...hence the name, Apostolic. :)

The UPC as well as all the other Christian churches out there, do not teach or practice what the early assembly practiced or the Apostles taught. Not only Scripture confirms this, but simple history as well. The UPC has many man made teachings which are NOT founded upon the Scriptures, but started with Constantine. One small eg: If the UPC follow what the Apostles taught, then why do you observe Sunday and ignore Sabbath? Also why do u observe Christmas which is clearly a pagan holiday?

@SmallSojourner @SmallSojourner what does that have to do with the doctrine? serving God is what matters. Being baptized in the name of Jesus, receiving the gift of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues and knowing that we serve One God, Jesus Christ is all that matters. now if you're talking about standards, thats a different story...and what man-made teachings? because all that my Pastor preaches is in the Bible.
