  • Sat in there for an hour. Couldn't open my eyes. Listened to the Beatles while in there though! Made a whole lot of different weird noises.

  • I had one peformed yesterday, it was worse sounding than this. This sound is relatively mild compared to the blaring and chirping sounds for over 30 minutes that I went through. I'm not claustrophobic, but I found myself scared and shaken by the very loud sounds. The headphones that were placed on my ears did not help at all.

  • i need a MRI on my back. im terrified. never had one before. im claustrophobic. i have asthma. i hate loud noises. everyone says its horrible. im soooooooooooooooooooo scared.

  • i had to deal with that for 45 minutes.....so annoying...and if your face itches you cant move

  • I had an MRI for the first time a few hours ago. I wasn't offered sedation (dunno if they offer it on the NHS in the UK) and didn't need it anyway. For those going to have their 1st MRI and who are worried - the noise isn't that scary and the headphones playing music blocked the worst out. I found that the sudden panic from being inside a small tube was the worst and hit me hard at first, but I soon calmed down and it helped keeping my eyes closed and remembering the ends are open so not trapped

  • I had to get an MRI twice and I did fine the first time despite how fucking annoying it was... the second time I went in there I got claustrophobic on them and ended up having to get sedated to get it done.

  • I couldnt hold still in a thing like this O.o

  • What happens if you MRI the Terminator. lolol

  • I had one and dug it. It was like a wild abstract synthesizer minimalistic concert. This video doesn't show enough.

  • I'm having an MRI later today and is scared to death. x.x

  • Yep, that's about it.

  • i had an MRI scan today and i was in it for 10 mins i was shit scared the noises freaked me out :[

  • the assistant told me it's going to be very noisy and irritating.

    Then it started WUBUWUBUWUBUWBU

I was like... ok... but then ... me gusta

  • I know what it sounds like, first the knocks, then the weird noises come in. gah....not easy to forget.

  • I fell asleep in mine and jolted awake. The technician wasn't too impressed cos I moved when I woke up

  • I have had 2 MRI scans and don't like them much, the noise freaks me out, still have nightmares about it now!

  • hahaha when i was in there i was doing drumline beats and rhythms. it can be pretty boring to not move or do anything

  • sounds like dubstep

  • I really enjoyed it.

It was a retro sci-fi experiece to 1990's experiment electro-dirty-hard-garage/house music.

  • im hard of hearing so it don't affect me to much without hearing devices in even though I can hear it stil but not as loud.

  • ohhhh shit not goooooooooooood

  • Comment removed

  • You have to request the operators firmly for ear-plugs. I have sensitive hearing and wearing the ear plugs REALLY help; I basically almost slept inside! :P

  • yeah these noises are crazy, bell sounds, bangs, things sliding around ! It would be nice if the techs explained that before the test... maybe offer ear plugs... I am a musician and I had to bail out, gonna try the stand up mri, or the chair.. the worst part was not being told that it was gonna be a half inch from my face ? I don't mind being in a tube, but I thought I'd have more space between me and the wall, maybe practice standing an inch from the wall to practice the feeling...

  • @larryjohnny totally agree mann, I had no clue the damn thing was gonna be so rediculously loud, the tech didnt tell me anything about it, didnt give me ear plugs, a panick button (which i wouldnt have used but apparently is supposed to be standard procedure non the less), didnt give me anything. even open MRI's are a half inch from your face... u cant even see out the sides to tell its open.

  • got one yesterday & bad techno is exactly what it sounds like

  • i had an MRI scan tuesday and mum was in the same room as me and she said its so noisy and to me i was listning to roby williams and it was so intresting to know that all of the noises and bangs are talking 3d images of my brain so intresting

  • THIS IS THE NEW DUBSTEP!

  • This rocks! Can you make a remix of the sounds?

My friend listens to dubstep techno, and it sounds just like an MRI machine!

  • I did an MRI scan recently and the noise was painful for my ears ! When the scan finished I was like a zombie ! I thought I will lose my sense of hearing!

During the scan I felt like my head was attached to some kind of noisy engine, even I was wearing bulky hearing aids. My whole body was vibrating too. Unfortunately I have to do an other one today! OMG ! One of the best ways for torturing!!!

  • Shit I thought it gonna blow up but nothing happen ;) I have sound like this MRI today I went MRI today for my knee..

  • *wonk* *wonk* *wonk* *wonk* *wonk* *wonk* *wonk* *wonk* *wonk* YOU...WILL...DIIIIEEEEEE! A horrible death. ;D

Jk I'm getting mine in a month for knee damage. Peace!

  • I my first one yesterday and with earplugs and the headphones on it it wasn't real loud. A series of pulsating sounds and some vibration. It was strange but not that bad and it was oddly relaxing.

  • Was walking out of the atrium at sick kids hospital, as i was on the sidewalk i heard a noise coming from a vent into the basement just like this. Im sure it was their scanners

  • wow! This is one of the sounds ... I compare it with a hammer, hammer drill, cement mixer, etc. .. but with headphones it is best you know! Nothing to be afraid of his trust me:)

  • listen to dubstep, be already ready

  • That was only one of the sounds of the MRI scan, the others can be louder or softer and they arent all "buzzing" noises, it is annoyin tho lol

  • Erh ,, im havein a mri scan tomorrow.. and that noise is seriously gonna do ma headin :/

  • I had one recently, and they gave me earplugs which seemed to do nothing for the noise, but kept me from hearing anything they said to me.

  • I wish I'd seen this prior to it, so I had some idea what it sounded like.

  • the sound depends on the sequence used and the brand of the machine

  • I'm not claustrophobic, so even the first time I had it, I wasn't so much nervous as I was just plain annoyed. Those damn things are too loud >:(

It sounded exactly like this, with variations every other minute. I could barely hear the music playing in the earphones :/

  • I need some info about MRI scans, my boyfriend had one earlier on today but he said he couldnt tell me what it was for. im really worried. what reasons would someone need an MRI

  • @rachelbearable Im slightly claustrophobic and even i did not have that much trouble with it. I had one that lasted 45 mins today and im having another tommorow thats double that. Its very loud but they gave me headphones. i also had trouble staying still and i was freaking out and really hot. In my case i have to do this because i have severe scoliosis and the doc wants to see if i have a spinal abnormality or if any organs are being pushed. It varies person to person but isnt THAT bad.

  • I need some information about MRI scans. my boyfriend went for one earlier on today but he wont tell me what it was for. and he said he has a headache when i spoke to him tonight, what would someone need an MRI scan for? im really worried.

  • I had one yesterday and the fucker broke down! I was left all strapped up.. it was likw bein in an aphex twin video!

  • They arent that bad.. Normally they give u earphones and u listen to music so i could barely hear it :)

  • my mri sounded the same, i think that was the same model used, fucking annoying ass sound even with ear plugs

  • i had one once, and the sound kept changing every like 3 minutes? it sounded like pin ball, then a slot machine, and then just random clickings and beepings ?

  • @seansdoesntdoweed Mine was the same as I was having a scan done of my brain, the louder noises kept making me jump though lol but i worked out that everytime the clicking noises came to brace myself for a possible loud noise as the noises always followes the clicks

  • Ive just had my second MRI Spine and Brain today. Im a staff nurse and always try to reassure patients by telling them it will be over really quickly, but warn them its noisy. OH MY GOD...they must think im a liar, next time il tell them to lay next to a pneumatic drill, and then double the noise by 10 haha, this time I thought there was a fault...my ears popped xxx

  • I got an MRI today, after 5 minutes in the thing it started to sound like bad techno.

  • @Stup1dLikeAF0x Yeah lol

  • @Stup1dLikeAF0x HAHAHAHA!!! I just got an open MRI today, 11 months after your post, and that was the very first thing that popped into my head when the open MRI started...Boom..boom..boom...boom..boom...

  • i got a CAT scan when i was in i think 6th grade...lol i made myself calm down by saying to myself that i was going thro a donut...then i still had the IV in my arm and they put this liquid in my arm which made me feel like i peed myself...they made me keep my arm up the whole time...which hurt...lol watching these videos...

  • o____O;; weird. Mine was like this for a few mins but it made a _LOT_ of other disturbing creepy noises...

  • I've had several MRI's and none of them sounded like this. Each one it was just a bunch of loud banging noises.

  • I got an internship a MRI department in Sweden and I'm starting on monday. I'm really excited.

  • I had one today and I was really nervous, I barely slept last night and I felt pretty sick this morning. Apparently I'm actually more claustrophobic than I first thought. My partner was allowed to come into the room with me and they provided me with ear plugs and eye shades. The eye shades helped a lot 'cause I could trick myself to thinking I was in an open space. My partner held my hand throughout which really helped a lot. I'd happily do it again now! Nothing to worry about after all.

  • I had an MRI...the earplugs fell out O.o

  • @Weeeooojr the same happened to me

  • I hear this track before going to sleep

  • I had one a few years ago due to a head injury. I don't recall any noise at all. The procedure was so easy and painless, that I almost fell asleep! These are wonderful machines and they can save lives!!!

  • @brostraid If it made barely any sound, it was probably a CT scanner

  • @brostraid you more then likly had a CT scan and not an MRI, CT scanners do look very much the same as an MRI scanner but differ from the noise and type of picturing.

  • @princessbabi0611 Yea, wasn't sure there was a difference.I thought it was all the same. thanks for the info!

  • I had one done today. It was SO freaking annoying, even with the earphones in.

  • ik had een heel ander geluid,,

en een heel hard geluid aan het begin..

  • the type I had, and I HAVE TO GO TOMORROW TO GET ONE AGAIN, the enclosed area was close to me, and then there was too much air being blown in the tube area, giving me the sensation of feeling strangled, and THEN I had claustrophobia that I noticed. Any ideas of getting rid of that? I'm 26 and found out I'm claustrophobic under VERY tight spaces. They say you can have anesthesia but if they are allowed to at the hospital I'm going to, they best make sure I'm out cold.

  • Just had an MRI done today. The music was quite pleasant, it's almost like techno!

If you're feeling anxious about getting one done, don't be, it's not a big deal. Besides, it's one of the safest scans out there.

  • The only thing scary about an MRI is the bill. At my clinic it's $2,500 and up.

  • @ToddLCor well cause i live in the united kingdom we have the NHS national health service which is free so i got my MRI scan for free

  • yeah its really loud, but in a weird way its soothing because on the inside it sounds a little quieter when they give you head phones to listen to music and its dark too.

  • There is NO radiation in MRIs... NO single one! It's only about magnetism... Totally safe, unless you have metal inplants in your brain, heart, eyes, ears... All orthopedic implants are MRI-safe!

  • OVERLOAD OVERLOAD NOW RELEASING RADIATION - patient " oh shit! "

  • i had one and i loved the sound O_O

  • I've got an MRI on my pelvis on Monday after having cervical cancer. The last one was horrible but this time at least i'm prepared! just hope the cancers done one lol :)

Think the MRI scanner will be my new found friend for the next 5 years and as much as i hate them - they're amazing technology!

  • Oh, ugh!

  • I had a MRI done on my left shoulder today, this was my first, and I was completely relaxed(helps to use the bathroom before doing a MRI LOL), I was given ear plugs and this made all the noise bearable, and as one poster stated the noise was almost hypnotic at times. I hear that they make cds of the scan,I wonder if my doctor would give me a copy of my scan?

  • I am watin for the lyrics, "you say you want a revoloution", lol..... it sounds close!

  • Putain, le microonde géant avec le minuteur !

  • It sucks at first, but after the first 3 or 4 so scans u get used to it, they even let u listen to music :3 It is a little crampy in there so I usually just close my eyes and take a nap =)

  • like that - but much louder.... maybe should be a caveat with this video?

  • LOL thats not the sound!!! its sounds like a big fan? nothing o be scared of? ive had 5 surgieries and MRI'S and CT scans. dont be afraind of them. they are as scary as an xray machine. The MRI is a little cramped but just close your eyes and rest

  • sound like gradient sequence,

  • @majoy181226 You are a cerebral giant, I commend you

  • It sounds like a broken TV.

  • Believe it or not, I was really relaxed whilst having my MRI scan, and almost fell asleep. they're scary to look at though :S but once you're in there, it's really not that bad :)

  • thats exactly the same mri, that i was in, you think its exploding, when youre inside

  • i had this scaner 4 mounth ago but that was very sceary i coudnt even saty in that machine 4 a secound.

  • "you'll be fine?"....yeah right...read this.. google ny times after stroke scans

  • if you like "trash metal" you ll love about the sound.

  • dude...i am told that the noise actually hypnotises you slightly..is this true??

  • @kopaka160 In a way, but not really. It makes you feel like you are going fucking insane after a while, but it isnt that bad. I just had one this morning.

  • YES! I always wanted a recording of this, but much longer in durration. And where is the other beats they make? I was hearing all types of back beats when I was in one, loved it too much I guess.

All those comments about "hating it", what is wrong with you people? It is just a tube you lay in.

  • had my second attempt yesterday prescribed 4mg of dizapam still waiting for it to work useless.panic attack, sweating, dry mouth, shacking failed again.hopefully i can be put to sleep next time. .very embarrasing.its 2010 you would think there should be a easier way for people like me.

  • i had an mri yesterday. i hated. it

  • @JasmineMarieeee And I had an mri yesterday myself... AND I HATED IT!!! The sound was TERRIBLE!!!!

  • @TheViolentTeddy yaa was like a fucking 1992 video game! D:

  • ja dokładnie to samo słyszełem.można ześwirować!!!

  • i got my mri done and i didnt have to hear it cause i was listnin to tupac :D

  • mri is the safest scanning proccess and without any kind of radiation....biologically it doesnt harm any of your cells or your dna(electromagnetic radiation does).....the only way to die someone from an mri is to have a hurt beeper,or to die from Anaphylactic shock from tha contrast agent which is veeeery rare...even if u get Anaphylactic shock, they will save you by giving you intravenous adrenaline and oxygen supplementation.....on the other hand ct 's fuck your dna up....

  • wat... No fair.

I had an MRI maybe a year or two ago, and it sounded like a brick in a laundry dryer.

  • @Overfap An open MRI, but still.

  • @Overfap pff.. sounds so much worse than this. must be sucky microphone on vid cam

  • @Overfap a bit like jumpmusic xD?

  • @Overfap this was just 1 of the sound.

  • i just had one. & it wasn't that bad. it was actually pretty good.

  • I have one tomorow, it's not actually that bad, you have high power noise-cancelling headphones on the whole time, and if you burn music to a disc, they play it for you through the headphones.

  • Just had one today. The needle make me nauseaus, but after I got in the machine, it was rather relaxing and hypnotic. :)

  • Ahh i hated mine

  • Had my first today, lied there for one and a half hour. I'm happ i was allowed to bring music. It's extremely little space in there, but with slow and steady breaths and concentrate about a sound, it goes fine

  • thats not the only sound it makes every new image has a different sound. and its pretty damn annoying as well >.> ive had around 45 MRIs in my lifetime.

  • im 11 and ive been an mri once but it was the freaking LOUDEST magnet in pittsburgh and they even told me that. my first was 30 minutes and second was 2 hours and 30 minutes!

  • The "techno tube" is what I call it. After countless scans in my life, the sound it emits seems like an electric lullaby and it puts me to sleep.

  • my friend died when doing MRI scan

  • @bustaphatty - How did they die? It would be interesting to know the whole story, rather than just reading "My friend died when doing [sic] MRI scan".

  • shoot. im getting one tonight.

  • It used to be called a "Nuclear Resonance Scanner", or something like that.

But people got scared of the word "nuclear", because they thought the machine was a bomb or stuff.

So they changed it to 'Magnetic Resonance Imager".

Personally, I'd rather have a Nuclear Resonance Scan then a Magnetic Resonance Imaging scan. if only because the former sounds WAY cooler :D

  • @happyking9 The body is largely composed of water molecules which each contain two hydrogen nuclei or protons. When a person goes inside the powerful magnetic field of the scanner, the magnetic moments of some of these protons align with the direction of the field.

  • I am extremely claustrophobic. I would need to be completed sedated for this...

  • I am extremely claustrophobic. I would need to be completed sedated for this...

  • listen to a musician called Klaus Sculze..his album called Cyborg...sounds just like it...i spenty the toime in the machinee picking out the rhythms and tapping my feet in my mind (you have to be still)

  • i was asked by the radiologist how i was going between scans..told him it was like kicking back listening to a kraftwerk album...that was to give a familiar name...it was actually more like a guy called Klaus Schulze's music

  • I remember my MRI scan and even with my hypsersensitive hearing it wasn't so bad. It was a brain MRI, they gave me a pair of earplugs and I had to sit my head into this small "visor-cage" type helmet which is attached to the bed. It had a mirror on the top so I could see out into the room.

I just pressed the back of my head very firmly down onto the cushion, which forced the earplugs right into my ears and pretty much eliminated the volume of the scanner. It was just like rain on a car roof.

  • You should have tried asking if they had headphones that don't interfere with the magnet. You can listen to music on them, it's neat. I think you can also bring in your own CD if you want.

  • mri = scared me. all the stories of bad experiences + that sound! i have to get one in a few days on my knee. does anyone have any tips for me?

  • Had one this morning. Like the people before me said it's a little intense at first but then the rhythms sink in and it's pretty much cake. just close your eyes and breathe normally... i honestly sorta forgot the machine was on during one of the 4 minute pictures... everyone makes these out to be wayyyy worse than they are.

  • This video doesn't do it justice. I experienced five hours of TTS after my MRI and now suffer from chronic tinnitus.

  • Are you sure the tinnitus was caused by the MRI?

  • like chinese torture :)

  • I had my first MRI scan today. I didn't really know what to expect apart from having to lie down in some kind of a narrow tunnel. This video comes in handy when explaining to people what it was like, listening to these kinds of sounds for about half an hour. Didn't get any earplugs though I did get a headset so that the nurse could communicate with me about the process

  • At first it can freak u out a bit, after a while u calm down though, and after numerous MRI's the sounds practically put u to sleep.

  • A great way to drive someone crazy.

  • I had my 6th MRI today and I have had 3 CT scans.

If you are worried about having a scan please trust me when I say that you will be fine, they are not painful or uncomfortable.

Trick is to relax your arms, and take steady regular breaths. The contrast is nothing to worry about either, you may feel a warm sensation at most but nothing painful or uncomfortable.

The machine is noisy but once you get used to it the sounds can be hypnotic.

Don't worry you wiill be fine, I promise! :o)

  • @theboy247 yea i agree completly and if yu start getting bored makeing rhythms with the noices helps pass alot of the time

  • Also with an MRI they give you a panic button that you can squeeze if you start to panic.

  • omg i didnt get that one.And now hearing that sound i rly got panic omg im not kidding.Stopped the video as it started. And thats not the only sound it makes. And one time i feeled like i couldnt breath :D kinda got panic but i didnt show that off so the scan was completed sucsfulli :P

  • @theboy247

Thanks dude i had my MRI scan yesterday, i close my eyes and i relax it, pretty easy to relax in machine you hear a music etc. :)

  • all the youtube videos of exploding watermelons. is that likely to happen or never? i have my first one on my head tomorrow. little worried...

  • I had them before, it's nothing to worry about. The watermelons had magnets placed inside them which the machine's extremely powerful magnet would have pulled straight out, effectively blowing up the poor melon.

  • I used to have annual MRI scans due to a rare medical problem which caused an expanded vein in the head. They aren't painful, and they're not that uncomfortable, but they're boring. You have to lie as still as possible for half an hour and if you move you've gotta start again from the very start or else the image won't be clear enough to use.

As for the sounds, what you can do is bring in a music CD, ask for special headphones that aren't magnetic, and you can listen during xD

  • @theboy247 yeah, im only like 10 and went in it, wasnt scared at all, its very loud but it lets your mind float to different things, like it made very muc hdifferent sounds, one soudned like a music, one soudned like a machine gun and other like a motor of a very old lada

andi fell asleep too :D its pretty fun and relaxing to be there, you will not regret it!

  • @theboy247 im having one soon. Is it ok to breath in? Like do you hesitate to breath? Thats the only thing im afraid of.

  • @JuliaAnnDickson I loved the time I was in one,,, two times. It is loud but if you like early Pink Floyd, you'll dig it.

If you can get clostrophobic you might get a little nervous.

  • @theboy247 When i got the contrast i felt a cold sensation on my arm. and i can taste and smell it, but hes right, the only bad thing about mri's is there annoying sound, i almost fell asleep in it then the sound started, scared the crap out of me! And i know why you can taste and smell things that you get injected, its because when you exhale, you breath out carbon dioxide taken from your blood, and if somethings in you blood then it comes out too sometimes. i figured that by myself. im 14 btw.

  • @theboy247 You may want to know that most of the time you can order an MRI without contrasting dye injection agents. Why would you opt out of the contrast? Well, some of it, like Gadolinium, can exert powerful reactions in a patient, and could even cause kidney failure. GE Healthcare and the other makers of gadolinium agents are named in approximately 500 lawsuits filed by NSF patients, most of which have been consolidated in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio. Avoid them

  • @theboy247 yep, can just say the same, just relaxe and enjoy

  • @theboy247

Follow your tech's instructions and everything will be great!

  • @theboy247 yah it also helps if you like techno music cuz its like a freakin techno opera

  • @theboy247 i have an MRI scan tommorow and the hospital is supplying earphones so i cant hear the machine did they give you earphones?

  • @theboy247 you should be more worried about the CT scan, hope they didnt radiate the shit out of you!

  • @theboy247 i felt warm, how come it was getting hotter on my back where i layedon?

  • @XempireX18 maybe because there was somthing metalic at your back???

  • @nevertrusasmurf there was nothing metal cuz the operator asked me to remove any metal and wear a hospital suit to go in.

  • @XempireX18 strange they told someone next to me, who had a piercing, that if he felt it moving or it became hot he should say it. xp

  • @XempireX18 I was freezin in mine lol

  • I had my 5th MRI scan today and I have had 3 CT scans.

Please rest assured that there is nothing at all to worry about, they are not painful or uncomfortable.

The machine is loud but you will be given ear plugs. After the first couple of minutes the sounds can actually be quite hypnotic and can help you relax.

Don't worry if you are to have a contrast injection you may feel a warm sensation but I promise you it is nothing unpleasant or anything to be worried about at all.

  • I actually had fun when i had an MRI but the worst part was not being able to move and the loud noises..my ears started to hurt really bad after I got an MRI

  • I hope you got ear plugs for the scan. MRI scans are loud enough to damage your hearing permanently and you should always wear protection in the scanner.

  • I have just had my second MRI scan today (with a contrast dye) and can further confirm that they are nothing to be scared of at all. True, they are noisy and yes, you have to stay very still, but you will be given headphones to help muffle the noise. Maybe I am alone in this, but I found the repetitive sound quite hypnotic and actually started to doze near the end:-) Don't listen to scaremongers, if your doctor wants you to have an MRI it will be for a good reason.

  • I've had both MRI and CT scans. MRI is loud and makes lots of odd noises and takes longer. The CT scan is quicker, makes less noise but I had to have a contrast dye injected which felt like a ginormous bee sting right up my arm, this isn't normal apparently!

  • I love this noise. It's so much better when your in there though. The sound keeps changing though, sometimes it goes deep on long with a big crunching noise and the bass resonates through your whole body. I want another!

  • Absolutely not true. MRI is one of the safest methods of scanning there is.

  • hey u helped me alot seriously i said that to see if anyone would agree or not .. im going for an MRI in a week and people told me loads of lies about it and got scared so cheers mate !

  • Don't be scared, they are very safe. They use magnets not radiation, so are much safer than an X ray for example. I am having one later today, so I will let you know how it goes!

  • @chrisfass

    Indeed, the absolute safest

  • MRI's make more sounds than that.

  • The worst part about having an MRI is not being able to move. I had an MRI on my elbow today, and had severe pins and needles until my arms went numb because of the position I was in. Contrast to popular belief, they are not scary and you will be given ear plugs for noises during the scan. You will also be given a "panic ball" to hold, which, if squeezed, will automatically pull you out of the machine. Good luck

  • A CT Scan is way banal when compared to an MRI,a CT lasts for 5 to 15 min, with some background weak noises, and nothing more...But the MRI that i did lasted for 1h45,most of the time that i had to be perfectly still, while hearing those unholy loud noises, and for the top of it,the doctors had to inject a contrast in my neck,a real walk in the park...not...

  • I've been fighting cancer since 2001 and have had more MRIs than I can remember. As a drummer, my common mental diversion is creating riffs accompanying the repetitive noises. I'm wondering if I could slip a small non ferrous mic in next time and sample the whole event. They'd be bad-ass techno chops.

  • I have to get a CT scan, not an MRI. Is it basically the same sort of experience? Same tightness, noise, etc?

  • I had it done yesterday...the sounds was horrible but I closed my eyes the entire time and tried to dance to the sound of it like I'm in a techno house!

  • Hmmm.... that sucks that your claustrophobic. If I were you, I'd try to make a game out if it. Remember that claustrophobia is not a Biological disorder.... It's all psychological.... My dad just had an MRI just yesterday, actually. And he's not claustrophobic but it freaked him out, man..... He said that he's never been so frazzled in his life.

Which just goes to show you that it's all in your head.

  • I have to have an mri scan in about 3 weeks. I'm extremely Claustrophobic.. not sure wether i'll be able to cope! :/ ..it's not the noise or pain or anything that i'm worried about, it's just the space inside :/

Can anyone give me any information on what it's like in there? :(
