but it wasn’t ultimately my opinion that mattered because the record company was appalled by it. That’s not to say it won’t be seen, but I’m not sure if he ever had a fair chance of finishing it because of the record company. I was very pleased with cryptorchid because it’s a beautiful song and I wanted to see his imagery involved in it.

Fascism and socialism do not go hand in hand. Social democracies around the world are competing very well with the failed corporate crazed capitalistic economies. Also, they don't suffer from the volatile economic swings that wreak havoc on the middle class. The largest sectors of the economy (banks, rail, telecommunications, insurance, etc.) need to be socialized or at least regulated by the govt. so that they are not free to exploit customers and the govt. may better provide 4 its citizens

@evangrogers I'm an atheist, fully committed to the... well, not destruction of, but demotion of the world's churches. However, I fully believe that the worlds governments should convert to socialism. Not into the type of socialism practiced by China and the USSR, but a socialism designed and directed by the people to do the most good. I'm sick of hearing executives earn multimillion dollar salaries, complaining about increased taxes, lobby in our democratic society, and get their way.

2- it's impossible to determine a good use of resources without money. Socialism gets rid of money, and thus calculations of value can not be done.

@evangrogers Socialism does work. It's the socialistic societies attempting to compete with the militaristic and capitalistic societies (America, UK-ish) that fail. Sweden's doing well (of course, 83% of their people are Atheists/Agnostics, what driving power would make good people do bad things there?).

1. People will be happier in their jobs that's why. If a person is determined to be a garbageman (doesn't like school), they'll do that. What earns a living wage won't determine it anymore

@evangrogers 2 - It is possible to determine the value of resources. It's not done very well in our society right now (gov. determines how much the money is worth; resources always devoted to the misled public's opinion of what's right and wrong). Without money, gold and silver will just be pretty things - it'll be a good day's labour and a functioning product to actually equal value. (No doubt recycling could be more wide-spread.)

I think I'll live in my blissful world for right now.

@ThirteenthDoc A- recycling is overdone. Recycling is only profitable if there are government subsidies in place. Translation: it's not valuable to society. Throwing things out (in general) makes more sense. I predict, in the future, "landfill mining companies".

B- you act like governments just created money out of thin air. Gold and silver were made money in a more concrete manner. Every society that has had the option has chosen to use gold and silver.
