My grandfather use to passed this song on to all us kids and it touched my soul he would take our thumbs and lock them against his and sing you got that magic touch and passed his touch to all us children growing up
Shame with all the technology we didnt tape these shows.Imagine Seeing them singing back then? Bringing back memories and giving the kids today to be able to experiance what Grandpa did? Lucky for some of these WINS Tapes.
I'm in my 30's and I can appreciate when music artists sang and dressed with class. The Platters have truly divine voices. My father was right when he said no one sings like they do.
I was in the eleventh grade in high school when this song was popular; everyone was singing it. I was lucky enough to see them in person at Memorial Auditorium in Atlanta that same year; what a treat, always my favorite group-the original platters. I will never forget them.

Groups could sing in those days live with no auto-tune and echo chambers and choruses warbling off stage----and they all got screwed by the promoters

They were all blessed. Wish we had a similar group around today. If you were there in the 50th, you know what I am talking about.
