Sheridan gets all the cops who get kicked out of their pd's. All they have is drunk drivers, speeding and underage drinking to take care of. But they patrol as if we're rapist, murderers and meth heads. They're making it so people are moving to not get harassed by the small dick prick cops.

The Sheridan Police Department is full of thugs. Peroid. We need new management to bring a positive attitude to the Sheridan PD. The cops here have long forgotten that their purpose is to protect and serve and not to harass and belittle. I have had such a problem with the police here (no criminal record or traffic citations ever) that I wouldn't even trust them with my life. It doesn't surprise me that there is not one positive comment here.

apparently, my 70hp geo is a public threat in the rain. I moved away two years ago, and one of the reasons had to do with the "good 'ol boy" politics and the mentality of the law enforcement, which, as aptly put, came across like self-serving thugs. "9th pct" sounds much like the general attitude of the law enforcement there, and judging by the name, most likely is.

the sheriff, and police department both actively search out problems rather than trying to be a preventative measure. being in law enforcement, your friends and people around you will not badmouth the situation because they know the mentality of the officers around here. however, the sheridan area officials are the ONLY ones that were referred to me as "the local gestapo" numerous times within the first few months living here.

The police force is a joke in Sheridan. They get the cops who get kicked off the force from a bigger town. All they do is arrests drunks and follow teenagers around. They don't go after the meth labs or criminals. This is a joke. Sheridan Native 420
