Looks like what you said. Soul Calibur disguised as Samurai Shodown. I liked Samurai Shodown because it felt more like a game of single strikes instead of overdone juggle combos.

well it's not really Soul Calibur as much as it's KOF:MI with it being Samurai Shodown this time. Looking at the game play of both games and I think you'll see what I mean. I've played Soul Calibur and it's not this juggle happy. I guess after playing this one I'll be able to better judge the game but I like the Maximum Impact series and I like Samurai Shodown so let's see what happens.
