@Migillicuty420a i no longer have the car, but i was using a greddy type-s knock off at the time and you can tee the vaccuum off at any point after the throttle body..if i remember, i actually had this one tee'd into the port right above the throttle openning, but any of the ports behind the intake manifold will suffice.
@Reaper4988 Dang I tried one of those and I could not get it to work and mine is going into the throttle body as well. I did a vacuum leak test and boost leak test and still I get the turkey gobble sound when I shift!! i just posted a video of it so check out my channel and tell me what you think if you wouldn't mind.
@Migillicuty420a is the hks one you have real or fake? because i've been seeing a lot of fake ones trolling around on ebay and what not...those have a huge tendancy to not open up....also try tee'ing the vaccuum to a port behind the intake manifold...for ex. the brake booster of one of the smaller ones next to it.
@Reaper4988 I honestly dont know if its real or fake. The logos have the little "R" and the reaer seal does that hologram rainbow effect but the diaphragm inside is orange and I heard the real ones are black . I think its probably fake.

buy the hahn racecraft kit, its about 3grand and comes wiht everything you need, no troubles and no hassles, i put my entire kit together myself over a course of a year and it was a pain in the butt lol, the HRC kit is the best out there for this car so check it out. and i ran 8psi on my stock motor planning on running 15psi after the rebuild and then praying to god my tranny lasts me a couple months lol
nothin yet, but its already been replaced, but with a junk yard tranny....so its just a matter of time, hopefully by then i'll have enough for a manual conversion :P

So is your car still running? This video originally drove me nuts, so i did more research and asked a few tuners. They all agree with me, there's no way you can raise your fuel pressure that much to compensate for increased fuel needs. If you were running the stock regulator your staic fp would probably be too high for your injectors. The same thing goes if you had a leak near the intake manifold, the ecu can't compensate for the extra air and you run lean. Just be careful and use common sense.

hahah holy shit dude change your injectors... how the hell are you runnin 500cc injectors? Our injectors are 210cc stock or 21 lb. Why would you go with huge injectors only boosting 8 psi on stock internals? Why not run 7 psi on your stock injectors with a 12:1 fmu?

That's just retarded. The fcd limits the map sensor so it doesn't see positve pressure. Your car shouldn't run without it. As soon as the turbo spools your car should fall flat on it's face. You need a fmu or rising rate regulator to boost the fuel pressure. An safc can not even get close to tuning without one.
oh, how positive are you on that ;) all the advice i got were from ppl that have done similar things to the 420a, i know that i went to big with the injectors....and seeing as how my car runs fine without the fmu, it seems you might need to do a little more research on the different ways you can do things with fuel setups, also the afc allows the same thing as the fmu letting you tune the air to fuel at various points, the fmu is just something thats preset.
i'm 100% on that. let's see the writeup you used. You need at least a 1:1 fuel pressure regulator if you're adding fuel like that. The safc alone can not chage fuel pressures that much. You probably tuned with a narrow band and think that it's running fine. How's your 3 color led af gauge working for you?
