if its only the MUSIC (devil's handiwork) that creates love for Allah and rises the Ummah then there is something wrong with us...MUSIC is addictive, it fills our jearts with FAKE emotions. it takes us AWAY from prayers and dhikr, real dhikr. we have to be careful and not be easily fooled by the accursed one.

so tell me Shabaz, if this melody is uniting Muslims around the world in the time of crisis, is there any harm in it? Times have changed, we are not living in the period 1400 years ago, where people used to play music while drinking and abusing women. They were just misusing the beautiful gift of Allah, the gift of melody and rhythm. How can you ignore the love and unity such religious songs create? Isn't this what Prophet would want? Specially during the time like this?

My dear ali bhai, we do not have to rely on tunes or melody. A true muslim stand on the recitation of Quran. His lyrics are ultimate and I am also affected by his magical melodies and I agree. But the time has to come when as the time was before and the time of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is the best time. This may give to some stuf to reunite but the real thing on which we must reunite is Allah, Muhammad (PBUH) and Quran, not the music. "Ya Rabbi, Let the Ummah rise again".
