I'm glad I've been around long enough to hear a large number of the great tracks OMD cut over the years, at the time they were released (when they were more prominent) though I am ashamed to say I've yet to see them in concert. OMD were such a big part of the soundtrack of my life from the mid-'80s through early '90s, from Jr. + Sr. High, to straight through my Jr. College + Uni. days. Sugar Tax remains one of my favorite albums, w/ Speed of Light + Pandora's Box always getting heavy rotation.

This was the last of the OMD albums that were any good. This is by far my favorite track on the album. I remember listening to it riding with my parents in their Ford Crown Victoria Station Wagon to the Grand Canyon, going through flagstaff Arizona; The Summer after my Sophomore year in High School. This was before grunge ruined music of the 1990s.

This is an absolutely beautiful song!, and a fantastic album. Why is the song never talked about? the album is shunned a lot and.. idk why i know by this time that they where no longer a duo essentially.

But still this is a great album, and this song is one of there best and most haunting

I can't believe this song was not a hit. Not one of omd's best but certainly one of their more catchier tunes. Andy always said tesla girls should have been a bigger hit. that maybe so, but this song is even better crafted to be a hit single in my opinion.

This would certainly be up there in my Top 5 OMD songs. Its got a great melody and sounds like a typical OMD track - hear those choral tapes at the end! The mystery is, why wasn't this released as the third single from "Sugar Tax"? Also the lead melody line has obviously been slightly adapted by Mr Mcluskey to fit "Whole Again" by Atomic Kitten.

Great song. probably one of their 10 best but Enola gay is not only their best song, but is one of the best songs ever. Omd has many great songs like speed of light that should have been big hits. like "Stay " "ative daughters of the golden west" 88 seconds in greensboro" just to mention afew.

Man that's a big statement to make. OMD has sooo many awesome tunes. This song is great. In fact, almost all of Sugar Tax was great, but "Secret, "If you Leave", "Enola Gay" are just a few of their incredible tunes. Sorry, I was a new wave junkie...lol

Perfect pop song. Andy thinks tesla girls should have been a bigger hit. This song is much better. it should have been number 1. It has good verses. solid bridge, and excellent chorus. and the arrangement as always is brilliantly simple but not cheezy. Omd is one of the best and most original bands of all times.

right up there with TFF, Depeche mode, Ultravox, roxy music, the Fixx, and Aztec camera.
