There are still many good voice overs out there worth listening to. Don LaFontaine is 1 of only 13 Voice Overs in the world, who do trailers and network IDs for big companies and hollywood blockbusters. This includes the likes of John Leader, Hal Douglas, Al Chuck, Nick Tate.. etc. But I guess Don's voice is what "standardized" the world of voiceovers for movie trailers.. We will miss him alot.
Yes, he was struck down with a terrible disease and was rushed to Cedar Sinai Hospital last Aug 23. A blood clot was found lodged in his lung and was in critical condition. From then on it was a constant battle to save his life...
To this date there is still no official statement to the cause of his death..
The world lost a pillar of the entertainment world. Millions will miss him.. The man maybe gone.. but his voice will live forever.
He was my god father, i miss him so much, i cry almost every day, i know the cause but not shure if i should tell

The cause isn't really important, what's
important is that we had good times.
You really should call Nina and remember the best about a great man.

Just a question guys, how'd he pass away? Illness, or old age? The guy was just 68 or something, not too old, was it a disease?
