a unique document, the countess, soprano Elisabeth Söderström (1927-2009) was 72 yrs here! Saw her in recital in 1990 when she was 63 and at that occasion she was still in excellent vocal condition although she had retired already from the opera stage, but see this, 9 yrs later, the grand lady in Pique Dame. She died 2009 at the age of 82
