I refuse anything that can wireless transmit my info, i dont care if you intend my info to be used for border crossing it will be stolen by hackers, if i am forced to carry one of these cards i will destory the RFID

Opt out and take the standard licence when you go in for renewal. If enough people opt out and it becomes an expensive program to run, maybe they will scrap it. Stick to a passport for now, you need one to fly anyway.. and what ever you do, don't sign up for the NEXUS program unless you like dual iris scanners beamed in your eyes.. NO JOKE!!
Futon360.. good point! As foreign travelers enter the country (north america) will their ID's be just as "secure"? Why demand this on your people before focusing on where the threats are coming from?? Good point!!
yeah its voluntary for now. Then it will be the only driver's license. then you will all have a nice little microchip to track your every movement. but dont worry! It will have the most stringent of security measures in place. It will not reveal personal info about you. just "a number" .
And from the department of homeland security it states and I will cut and paste - "Appropriate radio frequency shielding (a Faraday cage) will be provided to travelers as an effective way to prevent any issues with skimming and the impractical tracking"
My question is - what is skimming and what makes tracking practical?
How's this for practical? Issue cards to NON US citizens that enter our country. They are required to have it on their person at all times or face stiff penalties. Track them!
This is a classic case of "Problem, Reaction, Solution" They create the problem, wait for a reaction from the population then offer the solution. People look into WHTI and see where they got their information from- The 9/11 commission Report! A report that is based on lies! So we the people should now take your RFID & Biometric equipped ID's based on a report that every rational thinking citizen knows is based on Lies- Best of all we pay for it? Reject The EDL's People!
