Seems like this episode is a little off-kilter from the last season. Watching them all in a row on youtube gives you a better comparison/perspective. Is this directed by a different person?
Loren and Jake's idea are hilarious.... If I'm Dr. Quinn's shoes i'd find it hard as testify my reputation for being a doctor is already at stake and not to mention the fabricated ideas they are trying to pull off. LOL! but i find it funny they came up with bank and opera house and library and reason not to get inside...heheheh!

Can't blame dr mike for wanting to get medicines and supplies etc more quickly and efficiently. i think a lot of people see only the good side of 'progress/development' though and not the bad side.
It's too bad Mike doesn't see the train in the way someone from a small town does. It's not always a good thing to have 100's of new people traipsing through, not respecting your home.
Funnily enough, the railroad coming to town was the reason I stopped watching the show. It changed Colorado Springs into a burgeoning metropolis and that's not the little town that I loved.

why did Jake help Mike off the wagon? that is so unlike him!!!! it seems like the actor was being normal and he forgot he was supposed to not the nicest person!!
