for all the critics all i would like to say is that you all breag and post comments.i know that what you supposed to do.....but you all say DODGE this.....and that...CHEVY....this...and..that...and...FORD....this...and that...but guess what.....and this is just me...if its a 4WD.....and...then if its a diesel..........a lift kit would also help......thats all i need to like a truck...... ps a GUY THATS LIKES TRUCKS....
look you dumbass I own the truck its a 7.3 2001 drive line in a 2005 body no clip changes frame motor trans are 2001 body is 2005 have all pics to back up what I'm saying.
Badass SD. I wouldn't want to go quite as tall with mine, but none the less, it gets my itch going to lift mine. BUT... gotta keep mine at stock height for pulling a fifth wheel.
whats a shame? this truck was writen off by the insurance and was going to be cut up for scrap. actually its 2 trucks going to scrap.... would you like to see it enjoyed or parted out as scrap?
wow fooled the hell out of me lol, i have a 6.9 also, the spool is just overly loud because the mufflers off cheers on the build and that 05 front end conversion is sweet, good luck with it and in the words of my canadian friends met in the poconos give her! lol
not bull; the F650 gets 15mpg to 17mpg, and those engines are much bigger than any F250/F350..
my dad has a 2005 F250 crew cab & 8ft bad w/ a cap. he has a 6.0L Turbo Powerstroke and he gets 18mpg city and 20mpg highway. it is not bull by any stretch of the imagination.
*i would say it gets no less than 12mpg at the very worst.
Actually not much bigger at all. The f650 used to be available with the powerstroke, but is now available with a 6.7L cummins (same as in the dodge ram, or a CAT 7.2L engine
this truck will never see the road again anyway so who really cares if it gets 5 or 50 mpg ? I can tell you it ran all summer on less the 150 bucks in fuel playing lots cheaper then all the gas trucks I play with!
Glad you have 2 7.3ls its the only way to go I own this truck and its a 2001 7.3 in a 2005 body I have all build pic's too it was running like crap that day had not been run in a year and was picking up air in the fuel cell. runs much better now
in the south maybe, but most states, if the bottom of the bumper is higher than 40" they are illegal, for safety reasons, kuz if this truck where to rear-end a car, the truck would probably collapse onto the roof of the car it rearended
You need a ladder for that fucker! Just sayin'

Thats it. A pickup truck with a small lift and good tires could do that. Why aren't you thrashing through 5 feet of mud?

bmclaren45 2 years ago
or the guy with the truck could tell us how much he gets.. i mean, that would probably be the best/easiest way to find out; if that works for you?
yuskjr 2 years ago
Actually not much bigger at all. The f650 used to be available with the powerstroke, but is now available with a 6.7L cummins (same as in the dodge ram, or a CAT 7.2L engine
bigassfordsd 2 years ago
i am well aware of the engines offered on the F650, & they are bigger; i will send you a message with the reference in it.
my point was that the F650 's fuel economy is around 16mpg, & those trucks weigh/tow/haul MUCH more than the truck in this video.
this truck, probably got closer to 20mpg before the mods, so to say it only gets 3mpg after them is retarded. it cannot get less than 12mpg..
im sorry, but the lift kit & tires won't suck up 15mpg..
5mpg less is reasonable though.
