  • Thank you! I've been trying to figure this out :P

  • i got this down by: 1. on my neck 2. working it onto my shoulders 3.starting the boucing! ((: Goodluck yall!

  • Sweet! I tried it once after this tutorial and I got it!

Turns out I was not hoping from my knees.

    THANK YOU!! :D

  • @lilieblossom haha my name is Saphire and this is awesome lol :)

  • hahahha "from a girl named SaFire"...

  • Thanks for your advice. It seems to be helping :)

  • Thanks for the tutorial! I start off through the vertical duck in but after a few revolutions of vertical hooping, the hoop starts going horizonal. Been trying for a while and can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. Any ideas would be very appreciated.

  • @wrongchoice1 Well if its going horizontal that probably means that you are standing back up straight. Try keeping your body as tipped forward as possible. I sometimes visualize myself laying/rolling across the surface of a table while doing this, it tends to help.

  • thank you so much this was very helpful for me got it within the first two trys!!=)

  • When I try to hoop at the chest, I can do it if my arms are out of the hoop, but not inside as you have demonstrated. If my arms are inside it moves up to my neck. am I doing something wrong??

  • @NnyxBee Yes, without seeing it my guess would be that you are shrugging your shoulders upwards. That is what you want to do when chest holding with your body upright but once you tip forward you want to go forward and back not up and down. Does that make sense?

  • Wonky....the hoop wiggles when it is in front of me. It goes up and down while it rotates while it is making its way around. It shimmies. It is really hard to explain.

  • @DeadwoodSD1876 Hmm can u send me a vid?

  • @seer5 I wish I could but I don't have a recording device. I will just try with different sizes and weights until I nail the darn move.

  • I have been trying to get this move for a long time. I can chest hoop with no problems but when i go vertical the hoop goes wonky. Maybe I need a heavier hoop? Help me LOL

  • @DeadwoodSD1876 Explain "Wonky" to me...

  • @DeadwoodSD1876 That sounds like either you are not standing evenly (you are leaning or twisting your torso), or you are pushing harder with one shoulder than the other.

  • @eternalvoyageur Hmmmm I never thought about that. I will try it out in my hoop session tomorrow. I might even be bending to low. But I have noticed my hoop is too large. Thanks for the help. :)

  • THANK YOU!!!! Took a lot of practice, but thanks to your excellent tutorial, I finally got this! I'm so stoked ~ it's such a cool feeling! Thanks again for all your great instruction.

  • awwww damn boy u have to much energy :)

  • Hey I need help! I have been attempting to do this move for about 3 hours straight....I have no problems chest hooping but when I go to make the hops down the hoop falls to the floor..Is there anyway to start already in the vertical position and just start hooping without making those movements down> (I have also tried this but my shoulders and back dont match up smooth and the hoop goes crazy,,,any other tips? Thanks!
