you know, i really like these works. You know a lot of these comments below are really negative and they all say this isn't art. I believe they are completely art. Anything is art, mikey obviously is passionate about what he does and its a world that allows him to in a way get lost in what he is doing. it's obvious through the show that he does have a very stressful life through family struggles and addictions and i think its great he is trying to make something of himself.

We never know, how was Mickey's childhood. His father's was a drugged animal. And now he is a chopper "God". Mickey was a smallest guy, (the clown) who never will get to the same level with brothers. Plus the TV show, and so on. Maybe these "tragedies" try to tell us!
But a bit expensive :) I suggest to him learn a lot painting techniques and art, styles ect. I'm happy Mickey found his way! Don't give up! You are a lucky guy and you are very important for many people!

You do not know what goes through Mike's head when he makes these and I do agree that it seems he is just trying something without any training but he is "Taking Action" on a dream he has. That makes him better than almost 100% of the population. Also, he did rehab and, I suppose is clean or working on making being clean permanent, which also puts him above 99% of the addicts in this world. Part 2 coming----

The frenchfries 3:06 was pretty good,the base paint red blends with black...and yellow blends with black giving it a perfect fit from yellow-red transition. The painting at the right in 3:49 too was pretty(w/o random scribbles at edges of canvas) you can see people revolving around the sun.
Right 3:39 and top middle 3:54 were surprisingly good too

There is actually crap in museums that is just as bad abstract art is totally subjective really why don't you paint choppers whith the abstract being part of the painting I mean you were on a show for 10 years about choppers so you should put that in your paintings I'm mean only people that look at the show are going to buy your stuff anyway
Nice work Mikey. I can see other influences besides Pollock in your paintings, including Miro and Picasso. I know you mentioned on your site that you've had no real art training, but I think if you studied art and its history a little, it would really bring out the budding painter which has already begun to emerge. Keep it up Mikey!

You may think "anyone can do that shit" But it is really hard , not as simple as it looks. Take if from an architecture student, and I had to study art for 2 years.

seing your work method i feel the need to tell you
1. Don't start painting until you have one good thought.
2. After you've sketched it down, edit the hell out of it. Get rid of any unnecessary elements, colors or brushstrokes
and at the same time Be Authentic - Be true to yourself, your inspiration and your style....
