Ok, ive installed 5 invisibleshields in the past, and id say as long as your device isnt curved, usually the screens fine on that part, the invisibleshields easy to install as long as you follow all instructions and spare an hour for it.The reason i wouldnt install it onto the curved parts of devices, like the ipod touches back (silver chrome), is because basically your more than likely gonna fail, or its gonna look hidious like in thi video. Seriously, for screen protection its #1 for me
is it worth getting it for how expensive it is? i was looking at just getting the 7 dollar riot outfitters screen sheild. does anyone have experience with that? if ya do please msg me on youtube :)
Does it get kinda hard to move your fingers across the screen? Because I know some cases do that, im guessing because of the moisture. But a shield like the glare one doesnt do that. Please reply.
i kind of regret it cuase it peels off sometimes and makes the touch screen more rough and harder to slide your finger across the phone but its worth it becuase its virtuly wieght free and protects the screen
You guys who think this sux, you're just bad at putting it on your iPhone. I Put it on my 3GS in october and it still almost looks like I put it on yesterday. I just messed up once cuz I tried to put on a case on my iPhone that already had an invisible shield.. That was a misstake. But other than that it's perfect. It hasn't scratched or anything, I recommend this to all of you iPhone users! Unless you want a scratched phone, or a big and ugly case...
I have done a full review detailed about these products. Including Pictures and strength testing videos. I really tried to beat the hell out if it. At the bottom I have a discount code to get 20% off!!!
Great Video and i agree the invisible shield is useless, i bought the wrapsol front and back protector, it was a doddle to install and no imperfections at all..please test this you will not be unhappy with the result. The only thing is you have to buy direct from america but i received mine within 3 days.
I installed mine exactly as the instructions stated had no bubbles or dust etc. I also used lots of the liquid from the sponge.
Mine did the same thing and is much worse. The so called warranty system is a joke. I will be tossing mine and not getting another.
Customer service is also pretty poor, took weeks to answer my email then I have to pay to send it back, pay to get them to send it to me and I will need to wait ages to get a new one. DO NOT BUY!
Hi, i installed my invisible shield (front) and after it dried ca 20 hours i started the phone and discovered very much dust inside. It's because of the damn sponge they replaced the spray with. It took it off and tried to clean it without succeeding.
Now i've sticked it into the "non-sticky" film it took it off from.
Do you think i will be able to clean it now and re-use it?
The key to installing the invisible shield in my opinion is: more solution = better result. Spray that shit on like theres no tomorrow that way it won't instantly stick on and you'll be able to slide it around your device until its in the correct position. And once you got it where you want squeegee from center to the top and bottom while mopping up the excess solution. Obviously taking care that the solution doesn't enter the headphone jack or the speaker. It's perfect on mine, zero bubbles.
You have made a complete mess of trying to install this product! i dont even think you were in a clean enviroment when you did it as you can see lots of dust specs on the back. Yes i know, you need a lot of patience to do it, but it can be done.
You won't be able to put it back on properly cause when you pull if off it stretches and it won't fit as well as if you got a new one. Better send it to zagg and request a new one.
lol i bought the zagg shield for my sidekick 2008... i no wat ur talking about its difficult to put the corners right and stuff but the screen is intact and awesome thanks to the shield...
Yeah but whats the point sending it back because the cost and the waiting means it would be better to buy something else instead. Mine also peeled off at the tabs and I applied it properly, £15 is a lot for something to last only 3 days. Think Ill go to a proper case and put up with the bulk.
did you apply everything at once and leave it to dry or did you do one side, then leave it for a day, then do another side and leave that for a day? which is best?
I applied the front side first (along with the home button) and turned it over and applied the back side. Let it dry for 2 hours, came back and started to do that palm technic on the corners until they were glued well.
After that I applied the small pieces in the top and button chrome parts and let the iphone dry for 24hours from here.
i tried to apply it to my dsi (just one piece) recently and the edges didn't go down well despite the fact i really took my time with it and did every thing right, and a couple of white bits got stuck under there, fuck knows how cos i was careful and kept it as clean as i could. there's no way i was going to do the rest of my dsi with it, especially the screens (especially with the distortion (orange peel) effect it creates, hardly invisible). ended up ripping it off and contacting zagg.
I've chosen not to bother with the replacement due to the fact shipping costs will cost me 33% of what I've already paid for the shield. the lifetime warranty is really a lifetime 66% off discount. good? not when the install is so damn dodgy and from what I hear, the edges peeling up and the material getting scratched up and turning yellow in time.
I'm not impressed with the invisible shield. I won't be buying anymore. fuck paying them anymore for another Impossible Shield.
I put mine on today and will do a video soon. It takes ages to put on and you canot rush , I have very good results to far. Yes you need plenty of liquid and a propa clean phone. I am happy so far lets see in a few days.
i applyed it with no problems today just waiting till tmorow i got no bubbles but its a lil mistyi think it is great but instalation was just a little annoying and it isnt clear how i hoped it would be will it clear up by tomroow ?
when i 1st installed my invisble shield on my iphone 3g i forgot to leave my iphone 3g alone for 24 hours instead of me doing that i turned on my iphone 3g like 10 or 15 minutes after i installed can any tell me if its bad for my iphone 3g screen???
Good video, I'd recommend getting a replacement and taking a little more time setting it up, because all those flaws are from the installation, which can be a pain in the butt. I've put on 2 iPhone shields, 1 Zune, and 4 other cell phones.
ive had mine on for about 1 month. I personally love it. I have one small area around the camera that is starting to peel back a little bit bu t i know its my fault from the application of it. It is very hard to line up getting it on. I dont like using cases cause I like the look of the phone. So the IS gives me scratch protection so i dont have to use a case
Exactly, I love the fact that you don't quite per se need another case on top of the IS. The IS shield is pretty much weightless, which is a bonus. If you can apply the IS without any problems, it would deffo be a plus.
The screens not hard to touch around on after install, unless you either have resitive touchscreen or generally press quite hard

You defiantly have not used enough of the spray, They should refund you though or send you a new one.

I don't think they'll refund for installation errors, but if he sends it back he'll get a new one.

Honestly, I found the inv. shield far more easy to apply than any other shields!
The only con about applying this shield, it's the time that you have to wait for it to dry the solution and finaly apply perfectly those edges.
