I think it is a good idea in terms of aesthetics (it somehow rings Jean Cocteau bells). Still, I believe it defeats the original poem in te sense that I cannot hear an elephants caravan here. Then again this is my own subjective perception and iterpetation of sound.

@xiCcx It is weird. I had Dadaism as a discussion subject at university today, and everything about it seems to be contradictory. I still think it's a cool idea though, very original and intresting.

@MandaOwl Totally. Dada is meant to be contradictory, not to itself but to art instead. It was a war against that time's beauty canon, against bourgeoisie likes and critics, started by Hugo Ball. Like Tzara said, "dada is cultural terrorism"

@BreezehBree Dada is an art movement. It's anti art. It appears to have no meaning but it conveys meaning with it's lack of meaning. Dadaists viewed WW1 as so horrific and so pointless and meaningless that it reacted to the nonsense of war with nonsense. When I first started studying I thought it was rubbish, but when you really look at it and take the time to understand it, it's quite brilliant.
