Heya, I'm having a bit of a problem with.. evil lava toilet master butler boss. I didn't pick up the Laser so I'm stuck with Lightning gun. The boss just keeps on recharging. What gives?

I like how, inbetween missions on the same planet that are right next to each other, you still have time to completely shell out your ship and replace all your guns with lightning and missiles if you want. Ahhh...good old-fashioned game physics...
