  • do you have to include the wikipedia article title in the song lyrics, or do you just find it easier to do so?

  • @fecklessman It's not an official rule. The only one I haven't included the title in so far has been Gothic and Vandal Warfare. When I'm writing the lyrics, if there's no lightning-strike of inspiration, I usually start with "What rhymes with the article title?" and just go from there. =)

  • wikiriffs bandcamp?! woohoo!

  • Absolutely LOVE!!!! This could be my favourite yet. Now I need to somehow find someone to go to the botanical gardens with....You know... holding hands, snogging each other's faces off behind the shrubs:P Dude, Great song.

  • @MrEmichan Thanks! I've actually been to their website and a lot of their plants don't seem particularly tall, so you'd probably have to get down quite low to actually hid behind one, haha. Your own botanical garden might have bigger plants though. =p

  • Dude. This was AWESOME! It's got that really nice indie feel to it and the chorus is mad catchy.

  • @halosandbagels Thanks! I'm really pleased it turned out well, and I like making songs that stick in people's heads. =)

  • Really liked the Artic Monkey vibe of this song. :) This is such a great project, hope you get lots more subscribers soon.

  • Instantly reminded me if The Strokes! :D Excellent work, man! I love it!

  • @davidmishere Yeah, the guitar part was certainly inspired by "Last Nite". And by inspired I may mean ripped off. Haha

  • This is AWESOME!!!

  • @1boredenglishteen =D Thanks!

  • D'awww, you guys. =p

  • Lovin' The Strokes vibe off it. One of your best in my opinion. :D

  • Every week a new song gets instantly stuck in my head! And I'm signing along by the second play through. I like the Arctic Monkeys-y feel haha :]

  • I love it! Totally upbeat and a fun song to dance to! Great job as usual!! :)

  • I could imagine hearing this on the radio :D

  • this is amazing.

  • @xmissmandymousex Thank you! =)

  • ...I sense a bit of 'Northern' in there! I can imagine Frank Sidebottom singing this :) Sir, your talent is endless? First the American accent on your radio interview and now this! lol! Are we going to get a Swedish accent next week?

  • @SparkyMalarkey Aye, it is a bit Northern ain't it?

As for a Swedish accent I doubt it, it'd be a terrible caricature. I'm still amazed I get away with my faux-Irish accent on "Glenlara GAA". I already have plans for the Sara Sommerfeld song though, and it should be good if I can pull it off!

  • @WikiRiffs Of course - I forgot about the Glenlara GAA accent! We need something Australian to pop up soon...lol

  • @SparkyMalarkey Ha yes, we'll have some Ayres Rock Rock. =D

  • Nice one, interesting rhythm. The video is very well done this week!

  • @DukeLongfellow Thanks =D I'm pretty new to masking (I think it shows in places!) but I think it turned out well.
