@Halfgini Um...isn't that exactly what I say in the video? Beside, even on a Mac/PC its still annoying. You actually think those sites with pointless intro animations and slideshows are well designed? The second I see flash animation on a site the first thing I think is that they haven't hired a web designer since since 2006. Flash for video makes sense a lot of times. Flash for a UI is bad design that relies on (excuse the pun) "flashiness" over functionality.

@TopOfTheTech If you have an iMac at home (that's at least somewhat powerful) then I'd recommend the 13 inch macbook air for travel, as it has a solid state drive that's much faster and much more tangible for quickly booting up and looking at something. It's obviously much lighter and smaller, too.

It would be even more interesting to know how the Air competes against the MacBook Pro 13" which is, honestly, not that big ether and provides more battery life.

But thanks for the video! I am also traveling a lot lately, although more of a "business travel" kind of thing. My "Weapon of Choice" was a MacBook Pro one and a half years ago. Still is a great travel companion.

The iPad gets my pick for its dedicated apps compared to its websites like walmart app vs walmartdotcom app is better so is google app vs. googledotcom.

You really can do so much more with the iPad. But it also can be very distracting from all the fun you can have on it, so I would go…

you could also use a set up where you have a Macbook Air at home and you connect to it using Splashtop Streamer. Unfortunately, for that setup, Splashtop requires an internet connection and a google account.
