Even the stuff that's 'good' now isn't nearly as good as the 90's was. For instance KRS-One's album with Buckshot from 2009 is pretty mediocre. Sure it's better than Drake or whoever it is now but so is silence. Immortal Technique and whatever artists people are like yeah they're the dope underground shit are really nothing compared to Rawkus Records in 1999. THAT was the dope underground shit. Not this new mediocre stuff like MF Doom. Just the way beats sound started lacking in '00-'01
