@kaiamooky -- thanks for watching, and good of you to notice that. Applying to violin 1 mostly, sometimes violin 2: I'm in 4th almost as much as 3rd, this is particularly so during the verses. During the chorus' its more just 1st and 3rd, and the bridge section is almost all 1st. I prefer to play higher up on the string, where the tone is more mellow and not so harsh. That said, you can play almost all of this piece in 1st position if you want, the notes themselves aren't high at all.

When it comes to pop, as a rule I don't like any popular music. But this is all in degrees of course, and I've learned that in my relatively small liking of pop, my preference goes to the East rather than the West.
