I think he plays this piece very good, it is extremely technical difficult to play this music, and if you can, you have to have "good taste" to play it musically good...
It was extremely ballsy of him to play Godowsky's Fledermaus Metamorphosis for a piano competition, and he does a pretty good job with it despite the obvious (and understandable) technical hurdles. Another excellent performance of a forgotten masterpiece.
This is such elegant pianism and fine virtuosity. It's rare to hear Godowsky's music performed with such finesses and feelings for the Viennese waltz. Bravo!

Pretty good job. I love Godowsky so much. This is an odd piece, though, to me. Maybe the performance is a little too delicate and cautious, yet not enough intimacy? There is still _some_ Strauss in there, afterall... THANKS FOR SHARING!
