  • You sir, are my hero, and this video, is gold.

  • Also this is a great video that I will share! Great info. worth watching a few times even. Very informed and great presentation. The fact that there's 15 dislikes just means that you're doing a good thing touching on a sensitive topic. It's tough for people to take in.

  • Good for you speaking out... got here from ya stoner channel, cheers from Berkeley

  • I honestly don't know how to tell you how knowledgeable this video was for me. As long as I can remember I have never believed in religion. I also never wanted to take the time to educate myself on any religion because I figured it would be a waste of my time. After watching this video, I have even more reason to not believe. Thank you for making this, it was very well organized and it covered a lot of questions I have had. Keep it up !

  • Hey whats up, I am catholic and I do believe in heaven and hell. I also like to believe that each person can decide for themself. I have a question...if you do not believe in any religion then what do you have faith in? What do you think happens after we die?

  • @aking5570 I decide not to believe in superstitions. I choose not to believe in lies that condemn and judge other people. Do you think I deserve eternal torture because I choose to think differently than you? If you don't, then stop calling yourself a catholic. And if you do, shame on you.

  • I've had the same thing happen to me! A young Christian who couldn't have been more than 16 or 17 try to force his religious views upon me over YouTube! Anyways, Great video! I could agree and feel the same way about alot of the stuff you covered in this video.

  • or At least the testimonies of people that wrote of him.

  • Real, but may have had intents far darker than portrayed.

  • Something on the inside of my hand pulling me to him, but I didn't want to go. SO I told him maybe some other time. The last one I'll mention is a time I was at a friends house. I was sitting in a chair looking at the front door from my friends room, then the door began to glow bright white (it was open) and rays of light were passing though, but I wouldn't go near the door and it soon closed and I regret not going now.

Regardless, I am getting baptized and feel strange about it. Like Jesus was

  • Soo, I've had a weird experience growing up. I have been dabbing in different religeions, mainly being an Atheist. Well, recently I decided to get baptized, but now I don't know if I should go though with it. Sometimes I get this weird feeling; I don't know what it is, but it has happened to me multiple time in my life. One of the times my friend bit my finger from across the room without seemingly touching me. The second was when I was outside my friend beckoned me over to him. I could feel

  • @Gollsodia I say do it (I'm a Christian, so stop reading now if you don't want my opinion). I personally think there are too many holy testimonies and unanswered supernatural questions to rely on only science and beliefs of humanity. I say if you feel it, it's probably there, just like the Bible says. I'm not gonna shove it down your throat, but I would encourage doing it.

  • @theguythatcouldfly.. what exactly did I misspell ?? dumb ass

  • @ChaseK004 ? Something I said? My response to your "Why are Atheist always bashing Christians .. ?" was "This video is entitled "Why I speak Out Against Religion." I'm sure that if you actually take the time to watch and listen to the video, your question will be answered." Is there any questions about the video that I can answer for you?

  • Why are Atheist always bashing Christians .. ?

  • @ChaseK004 This video is entitled "Why I speak Out Against Religion." I'm sure that if you actually take the time to watch and listen to the video, your question will be answered.

  • @ChaseK004 This looks more like bashing Christianity than bashing Christians.

  • dumb.

  • @MFKmuckman I wouldn't call religious people dumb necessarily...maybe just lacking free-thought.

  • my parents are relatively strong catholics, and i have to go to church on sundays. i dont go because i want to, i go because i respect my parents. i dont listen and i dont want to. its so silly to believe in a big man in the sky who judges us. i liked what you said about thinking what we want. we dont need a punishment hovering over our head when we think bad. i can think and do whatever i want, but that doesnt mean i do bad things. im a good person and i dont need someone else to judge that

  • @backspacesquare Well said. I appreciate your thought-process. You may find help in Dusty Smith's (CultOfDusty) video, "How to tell your parents you're an Atheist the nice way."

  • @theguythatcouldfly i also heard that people in bible times did a lot of shrooms, i dont think i want to believe in others hallucinations lol. and why believe in a god that makes rules for you that go against your free will, and punish you for not following them? like adam and eve, here's a nice tree, DONT EAT FROM IT. of course man will investigate and eat it, so why did he punish us for it? crazy-ass religion

  • @mattscalloper you spelled marijuana wrong

  • "The religious myth is the most powerful device ever created, and serves as the psychological soil upon which other myths can flourish."

    - Peter Joseph, Zeitgeist

  • Once again watched and I like how u explain how u r your straight with people and it's how you feel there is no need to listen to other people. And it's not putting down my religion but it's showing what you think and yes half the people who put thing like Christian for life and all are dumb every makes decisions and it's their choice and everyone makes mistakes and if u don't believe in god it's cool it's how u feel fuck people that are trying to put how u feel down

  • Catholic for life

  • @aboone95 Ignorance is bliss.

  • @theguythatcouldfly ik bro.. ur a probly an obama loving, tree hugging, and peta loving idot....

  • @aboone95 It's hard to take your name-calling seriously when you can't even spell IDIOT correctly.

  • You are wrong in just one thing my friend, there is one true, powerfull and almighty God, and i call it Marihuana.

  • I tried, I really tried to watch this but every second that went by of you bashing my religion I got more frustrated and angry. Not because you don't believe in anything that's fine, but saying what I believe in is a lie is just as offensive as people that go around shoving religion down other people's throuts.

  • @samtiger000 I appreciate you trying. But you should try harder. Your religion oppresses women, lies to children, is justification for violenc, hatred and bigotry, and condemns me and other free-thinking people to an eternity of rape-by-fire. The least you could do is sit through one video.

  • Who is this god dude everyone keeps talking about?

  • Comment removed

  • I have a question. I've been raised in a christian household and now I'm 16. I used to have complete faith in Christ, but it seems that it is diminishing. I love science, and I believe in it, but I want to believe in God. Even if there isn't proof, there has to be something greater than what mathematical computation can prove. Maybe something we just can't understand and never will. Do you believe that could be a possibility? I just don't see how something so magical as life can be for nothing.

  • @shiznoes Wanting to believe in god is understandable. But that doesn't make it more true. Frankly, I find science to be quite magical, and awe-inspiring. Watch Larence Krauss' "A Universe from Nothing" or "Dr. Neil DeGrasse - A fascinatingly disturbing thought" for starters. Saying a sky-god created life, and then took a day off, seems dull and lame compared to the wonders of science.

  • @theguythatcouldfly I'll make sure to check those out. thank you for responding!

  • Thank you for speaking out, I agree.

  • I'd just like to ask you one question!

How does it make you feel, when people you love, or people you hold in high regard (regardless of their personal faith) that know and understand you are Anti-theist, yet they offer you their prayers, or mention that they and others prayed for you, or will pray for you and how do you deal with that situation?

Cheers dude! you and your bro need to make more vids :) even if their short, regardless of topic, your interesting to watch and listen to. Peach!

  • I think that if someone watches this video and is offended by what you say then they are clearly choosing to take offence. You don't come across angry and you definitely don't seem to be on a witch-hunt. People of religion also need to understand many people do not support their views and have the right to speak about that, and it is completely down to that person of religion to mentally deal with what they name blasphemy and such. It's not aimed to cause offence. So don't be so easily offended.

  • I guess, people who are not religious like to speak out against religion, as many people in this world just don't have the ability to discern. Just because we are not assigned to a specific religion does not mean, that we do not understand the religion that we speak about, nor does it mean we lack understanding due to lacking faith... We don't choose to not have faith, it's just how we are, whereas many people who are religious choose faith, to help deal with problems they cant deal with alone.

  • Hey bro I've watched you and your brothers videos and most of your I enjoy yours cuz your straight up your a smart guy and your right that you should have a religion and it's your choice what to believe in and like I go to Christian church... Sometimes but I don't believe in the whole story behind Christianity I believe there is a god with an almighty power but your right it's not right to criticize others for what they believe.

  • why don't you keep your views to your self, because you clearly want other people to hate their own religion. You should stop getting stupid ideas from smoking and actually take a look at reality.

  • @liontarte That was the stupidest comment I have ever received. Down right ignorant. Why would you ask me why I don't keep my views to myself on a video entitled WHY I SPEAK OUT AGAINST RELIGION. Come on, man, did you even watch the video, or do you just like to troll?

  • @theguythatcouldfly cool story bro...

  • @liontarte God doesn't exist, and I'm glad you believe in him.

  • well done

  • @theguythatcouldfly so you can see the message i sent below

  • @MattsSoBeast If believing in total nonsense that is immoral and unproven helps you to sleep better at night, then go for it. But keep it to yourself, because once you start trying to convert people or spread your lies to kids, then I will object. And for me, seeking truth makes me more blissful than ignorance.

  • To be honest, i still will beleive haha. I have to because i always worry about death. Thats why i got into weed to start off with:p haha but now its for pleasure purposes. Everyone can beleive what they want, and all have there own perspective. Btw great to talk to you haha been following your vids and your brows channel redband and greenband1080 for a while

  • @MattsSoBeast you know, if there was a god, which i'm not saying there is, do you Honestly think he would punish those who commit crimes again'st him? Also, if he is all knowing and controls our universe, why does he allow us human's to commit crime in the first place? is he trying to test us? Why would a God test his Followers? Oh yeah, and Dinosaur bones was also a test. God just loves playing with us =) not

  • @MattsSoBeast You've been dead for billions, if not trillions of years prior to your birth, has that inconvenienced you in the slightest? There is no reason to fear something you can't touch, taste, smell, hear, or see.

  • @gamertag223 i know right , i fully believe in god, for real why not guys? If there is one , then you go to hell , if not you live life forever in heaven. What is there to lose just have a little faith

  • @MattsSoBeast Because it's not true, because believing in an angry and selfish sky-god that counts the hairs on my head takes more than 'a little faith' and because it's fucked up to believe that people deserve eternal torture. That's why. 13:20 my friend

  • @theguythatcouldfly one hundred percent agree with you right there. I honesty can't believe how many people in this world will accept there being a God or All-knowing being Without even questioning how ridiculous it is. It also seems like to be an Athiest is our society today is absurd, to not believe in a "God" that torture's those who do not Obey his will and follow his commandments. It's just Crazy if you ask me. Also great video enjoyed watching it and agree on your views on religion. Thanku

  • @theguythatcouldfly Can u make a video about islam?

  • id rather believe in god and there is none, than not believe in god an there is.

  • @gamertag223 Why? Don't you understand that by believing in god, you are condemning your fellow citizens of earth, not to mention separating yourself from them? Just like the great John Lennon asked, I do imagine a world without religion. And it is glorious.

  • @theguythatcouldfly i do agree with the no religion better world, but you have to look into how religious you are, im not a super religious person i respect the fact that other people are non religious but to say a world with religion is worse than one without is a bit over the top

  • hey christians!!

    what?????!

    dinosaurs.

    oh.

  • @420xx247xx365 Well said. I laughed.

  • YOU ARE AWESOME

  • @TheJayef Thank you. I practice in front of the mirror.

  • religion are made to scare people and destroy other peoples life. do good to others respect others, dont hurt dont be fake, help the weak and the sick, do it from your own self. no need for religion to see the right and the wrong! we will all die and disappear. it takes a real man/women to accept the truth! no need for mind fucking me with jesus and muhamed and god or any other prophet, who were just like me. religion and politics destroy people! no need for lies!

  • have fun with that. i wonder which 1 will die first.

  • So god comes to him in a vision and says that if he sacrifices his son he will not suffer anymore.... So the man goes onto the mountain to sacrifice him and god comes to him and says that he doesn't have to sacrifice himself if he never questions god again..... Just shows how wrong this crap would be even if it was real.... Peace

  • Ok part 2 so in the passage there was a man who lived his life believing in god and one day god and the devil made a deal that the devil couldn't make the man question his faith.... So the devil does and does a bunch of shit and makes the man question his faith...

  • WOW IT ONLY POSTED HALF OF IT

  • @thatguythatcouldfly

    @R3DBAND

FINALY we have some people in this community that are speaking out about relegion. I myself grew up in a Christian household and went to church every Sunday.... Back then I believed that all of god and Jesus was real. But now that I have watched your videos and listened to what you have to say I completely think otherwise about Christianity.... I've realized that it is a bunch of made up bullshit... In one of the passages in I think the Matthew testimet (sorry I'm

  • The athehists putted those texts into the name of the true x files.........

  • You are shouting against antireligion. I can tell you that what your talking against is Atheism. Religion never did teach that shit. The Atheist began to teach racism.

  • @RolandIshaya Religion did everything I said it did. And atheism is responsible for nothing.

  • @theguythatcouldfly I want let you know that i understand you and your right too.

  • @theguythatcouldfly the video is upp

  • @RolandIshaya Atheism can't be responsible for anything. It's the lack of a belief. It would be the same as saying that people who don't believe in Unicorns are dangerous. Atheism isn't a dogma or a group; it can't teach anything. It's a word to classify people who disbelieve in religion. It's like the term senior citizen. It's just a word to classify old people. It's not a group. There aren't Atheist churches being built. We don't assemble. We all just hold the same disbelief.

  • @seanpull The thing which is really true is mathematics.

  • @RolandIshaya You can't really say who started it, but the first grand wizard of the kkk was a protestant, so theism began to popularise racism.

  • @TheCrystalJoker hitler was christian too...

  • @TheCrystalJoker Who started what? Grand Wizard, is that something for the pot ?

  • @RolandIshaya yeah, it is. the grand wizard was head of the kkk, the kkk was a racist group who used religion to justify their murder of colored people. you're saying that athiests are teaching racism but i can give you a long list of theists AND athiests that preach it. It's not just one group or the other.

  • I agree.

  • we will all see in the end anyway. we all have a clock ticking on all our lives :)

  • i will believe in what i like because were all free to. i wont go on about religion to youse because i dont want any arguements. you guys do exactly what i do which is kick back and get high and i respect that. try not to make to many religion hating videos. youse mite end up losing alot of your fans who liked youse for smoking.

  • @aussiebro2 Did you watch this video? Because it is entitled "Why I speak out Against Religion." And those reasons are more important than losing a subscriber or five. I will continue to make the videos I want to make, and I will continue to speak out against religion. Being true to myself is the best way to make videos, and the best way to keep subscribers.

  • @theguythatcouldfly I believe in god. I tell you now why and look at my channel for a video i will do about your topic to introduce myself too. And here is a common law from the world in us which we call god, lord, king and so on. You introduce yourself and that makes me introduce me to you. Or quality of people which are indipendent from race like fundamental qualities. And too understand this relation as same and not as different is the rule of god. this is more detailed ..

  • Comment removed

  • in the end its every 1s choice to believe in anything. but i do hate ppl that preach there religion on you and all that shit. and the bad things that are done from religous people like the old witch burnings and shit.

  • we are only humans mark we want to believe something will happen after we die. how gay would life be if every 1 was thinking oh great once i die i will become nothing just dissapear and be nothing. i am a christian but i dont go to church or preach about god to people or barely even talk about the subject haha but i like to believe when i die something is gonna happen to me. wether i and reincarnated or taken some where or anything. if i thought about becoming nothingness i would not be happy.

  • @aussiebro2 If believing in fairy tales makes you feel better, than go for it. But there's no proof or evidence that anything you believe is true. And by identifying yourself as a christian, you have to accept everything that comes with that, and this video outlines all that is immoral about that. You can still believe in a conscious afterlife without having to accept the biblical god. Seeking truth makes me happiest.

  • @aussiebro2 LMAO stupid argument bud............. LOGIC!!!

  • @aussiebro2 When I was like 14, I educated myself, and used intuition to completely disregard any religious belief. I went through a depression for about 2 months because I realized that I won't exist forever. After those two months, I got over it, and pretty much got on with life like I had before. I started to appreciate more things, and develop new philosophies and such.

  • i agree with you but for the most part this video is speaking out about Christianity more than religion.

  • Haven't you made it your religion to speak about religion ?

  • part 2 (continued from below)

Therefore it would be unwise to derive your criticism of Christianity 1) based upon religious zealot Christian posers, and 2) based upon the man-made creation of religion. Religion is imperfect because it's made by men who are imperfect, so when you criticize religion you're not criticizing God, but men.

  • @ImminentDeparture I'm not criticizing god because god does not exist. Period. And I criticize the jesus story because it is immoral. I am sure the jesus character is quoted as saying some nice, moral things. But the story as a whole is immoral. For every nice thing you can quote jebus as saying, I can quote something that lack morality. Did you miss the passage at 11:17 ?? What about Matthew 10:34-35 ???

  • part 1

Another point I'll bring up: Jesus himself makes it clear that not all who profess to be right with God, truly are. Not only that but Jesus was against religion and promoted love, truth, open-mindedness, wisdom, etc.

  • nice vid

  • its suppose to be @ you redband

  • @pennymate dont talk shit bro unless you got the balls to back it up irl.

this vid has got nothing to do with herb and your argument if reread is seriously a spineless pile of shit. honestly i dont even understand what you're being a little bitch about. come back with a decent argument. kthx

  • @PickyWALTMAN dude read what he said. HE was talking about another video. Ok. He got pissed off about me calling them fakers. When I said People dont need to fake anymore ok. IN order to get weed. They misinterpreted for me calling them fakers and they didnt let it go. So please read what I meant.

  • @pennymate Any misinterpretation was because your grammar sucks. It's not that we "didn't let it go" You failed to explain yourself.

  • No sound? Idk if its just mobile?

  • you think just because it was easy for you theguywhocanfly., its easy for everyone else to get weed. I Do mean easy. Thats not bad either, because i would hope it would and will be easy to get weed, because thats not fair for everyone if its not easy

  • @pennymate Dude, First off, please try writing in complete sentences. It would be easier to understand you. Second, I have put in a lot of work, and made a lot of sacrifices to get where I'm at today. Nothing has come easy, nothing is easy, and this video has nothing to do with cannabis. So get off it.

As far as Sam Harris and Richard Dawkins, and you and I, we don't need a god to have a purpose.

  • @theguythatcouldfly I'll write in complete sentences when im in hell. Because that's where we are going. Stop trying to say stuff to me then, switch up to a different subject. You asked I answered. I wasnt bringing up cannibis. I brought up how you guys got mad over one comment I said about it. In r3dbands video. Plus good i hope i see you and dawkins in hell so we can have a good chat about it peace.

  • even in videos because right now they are scared if sombody is watching and they get reported, thats why alot of stoners you see who are patients cant always be layed back. because they have to worry about that

  • I Didnt say neither of you were fake before you b oth started saying stuff, i said nobody has to be fake. and i stand by it. dude tons of stoners gots to be fake in front of a doctor to get weed. Because its not as easy for everyone to get a recommendation same as you guys

  • nope i didnt say you look like a troll , I said people calling me one

  • dude if your right sam harris and darwin are a bunch of nobodies, because there is no god, that means we all are a bunch of atoms and nothing. So who the hell is anybody supposed to be? If i choose not to believe in your type of morality, it simply means thats my own choice. Dude peace, is a sham. Because it requires enforcement. where your not peaceful, you get introuble. screw that. Im for freedom. Im not for controlling people with morality, without religion beause that makes no sense

  • @ImminentDeparture

youre actually wrong. believing in no god, saint, or heavenly being is atheism. Not believing that there is simply no god. Although it is still a belief it doesnt make us hypocrites whereas most atheists critisize others for worship in god, not simply for believing in them. Belief proves no harm to anyone, whereas worship is an action

  • @sirjj9050

your story sounds like you pulled it out of your ass.. im sorry, thats just how i view it from here. doesnt make any sense; could be because of lack of experience, knowledge etc, but i dont believe any of that

  • @DominatingNA

i agree. his claims are only based on a little girl's naive memories. i think he is either bsing the story or the little girl was confused.

The bible states there were no such things as dinosaurs... and look! dinosaurs!

the only god ill worship is BASED GOD. For all i know the Christian faith was prpbably made up by a couple guys high on shrooms

  • thank you soo much for sharing your thoughts,it really made me open my mind to certaain things. Can't apprecite it enough.Your an awsome dude.

  • so true

  • Great vid, i'm no christian, but there is an order, an intelligence behind the chaotic machinery of the universe. I believe that. I saw it once, it was terrifying and beautiful, it doesn't care about us or our prayers and needs. I believe it's there though, just beneath the surface of reality.

  • people have cussed and called me idiot and im calling you back. Fuck you. I dont know you. Half of these are little kids , hey dont call me a troll because you look like one fucker.

  • @pennymate You talkin to me? Because to be honest with you, Dan and I saw that comment on r3dband, and looked at each other with a WTF. If it was sarcastic, we didn't get it, and our humor is desert-dry. You've been around too long to be talking shit to us. We have no interest in acting tough, and we can take shit about our looks, our sexual orientation, and even our level of smokeage. But joking about us being fake? Come on, man.

You really think I look like a troll?

  • OK Mutherfuckers to clear the air, ok I knw some of you are hostile calling me a troll because you saw my comments more importantly saw my comments in r3dbands video, you probably saw the comment where they thought I was calling them a faker, they knew I didnt mean that, but they wanted to act real tough. They kept the fucking comment, and to whoever thinks im butthurt, Im not butt hurt cuz i dont really give a fuck what people think of the comments, you must really be lonely to think that.

  • Love your videos, I really do.

  • i just simply believe but i dont restrict myself from doing the things i love, so when i die.. if there is a god, i get accepted into heaven. if there isnt.. then i just die and rot. i got nothing to lose like i said, if there is a God and i didnt believe, when i die i will get sent to burn in hell. thats why i believe and im not gonna change the way i think about him. your stubborn and your a fool my friend haha.

  • it doesn't hurt to believe in him, you've got nothing to lose, on the other hand, in your case.. since you don't believe and you talk all this shit.. when your dead, your fucked xD oing to hell for eternity, you dont have to extremist in God if you believe in him, you look at Christianity as it if were some sort of imprisonment like "oh you cant do this, you cant do that, you believe in God so you cant do this blah blah."

  • It takes a lot of guts to put your opinion out there. Great information and I love the vid!

  • I hate religon but love jesus. Jesus died for us on the cross so people could be gay lesbian and so on. christanity represents living the christan life style being nice to everyone everyday praise him. in christanity you dont have to follow any guidelines becasue jesus died for are sins. Every man sins no man can say hes not but yet Jesus Christ Said HE was PERFECT for he is god. he said he is god. amen

  • This video was actually interesting. I was high as god though :D respect!

  • Hi Im a member of the British Humanist Association and I agree with your point of view, great to hear your thoughts. PEACE

  • @thatguythatcouldfly The banner really means nothing to me, nor does religion. With that said. The insults and threats towards Jessica is clearly wrong. The girl shouldn't be verbally abused because she wants a prayer banner down/changed. She did what she believed in and the other people took it too far. It was talked about so often even if you didn't know the girl or about the banner, you still knew about how the girl was getting harassed. It's embarrassing how the "Christians" responded to it.

  • Lets smoke a bowl on 4:20 you going to Denver or boulder

  • I have so much Respect for you, and I agree with everything you have to say! Thank you so much for making this video, I honesty enjoyed watching this and was well worth the time. Thanks!

  • @obbyit Thank you. It ended up being longer than I intended, but I'm glad to hear it was still worth the time.

  • You bring up a lot of points so i'll just address one for now: You say (I'm paraphrasing) that Christianity has/is forcing its beliefs into school and society. This is wrong. Public schools indoctrinate students with the teaching of evolution starting when they're young. So it's hypocritical and delusional to condemn Christians of "forcing" their beliefs on to their children when Public schools indoctrinate students with the theory of evolution from an early age.

  • @ImminentDeparture And they have good reason to do so. The whole point is that a belief in Christianity defies reason and logic, which are two foundations of the evolution theory. Teaching creationism, for example, instead of evolutionism goes against sound reasoning, and if we're teaching the world's future leaders, don't we want them to be reasonable?

  • @scoty2kk well said.

  • @theguythatcouldfly: I doubt you're able to provide me with any scientific evidence which proves evolution. If you say you can you're either misguided or lying. You accept evolution to be true by faith. This is the same thing you accuse those who believe in God as doing. This is therefore hypocrisy.

  • @ImminentDeparture You got that right

  • @sirjj9050 He's got it wrong. Anyone that claims that evolution requires faith to believe in really has no idea what a real scientific theory is. Science is about proving itself wrong, and moving on to the next great discovery. If there is anything to disprove evolution, science will find it. Science is always after the truth.

  • @ImminentDeparture A few things. Evolution theory is just that, a theory. Theories are backed up by evidence, but proving something is always difficult. In this case, the burden of proof would lie with you, as we have presented evidence towards evolution theory (Google it yourself, it won't be hard to find studies). Secondly disproving Christianity (and all religion) would effectively prove atheism as a whole to be true.

  • @ImminentDeparture And thirdly, you should welcome people trying to disprove you, it's a pillar of science. Other people try to disprove you, and by defending yourself with evidence and reason your beliefs are made stronger. It's what makes evolution theory a stronger concept than Christianity; because we ourselves constantly try to dis-prove it, internally. You should try the same with your own beliefs.

  • @scoty2kk well fucking said, man!

  • @theguythatcouldfly I thank you for the moral support :)

  • @ImminentDeparture I doubt you would investigate it for yourself if I provided you resources. You obviously have failed to even watch this video, let alone the links in the description. Evolution is a true as gravity and atoms. All theories, right?

Creationism requires faith, evolution requires knowledge. There is no hypocrisy. Evolution is real. Trying to argue against a scientific theory isn't going to get you very far. Why not watch the video??

  • @ImminentDeparture I give you Charles Darwin's "On the origin of species". I have faith in evolution because of the mountain of evidence behind it. Your faith is based on fables and stories from 2000 years ago that have been translated from ancient languages. Didn't you play telephone as a little kid? There is no logical way those stories could remain intact and 100% factual after so many years.

  • @R3DBAND your a fable, your attitiude is a sham. First you preach peace and love, then you say my grammer sucks, and i explained my self plenty. Your like I don't apprciate you playing around and blah blah blah. Serously you havent let it go. Your still saying stuff. Why dont you say it was because your grammer is bad. Not your grammer sucks. I hear you guys say slang all the time. You want to talk like christians are bullys look at yourself. You act irritated over every comment isay

  • @pennymate My brother pointed out very nicely that it would be easier to understand you if you write complete sentences. Your reply was very hostile. I have never been hostile to you, I have stated my points very clearly. You however have been rambling on about nothing and not listening to any counter-arguments. We don't want to be hostile towards you but your nonsense is not easy to overcome.

  • @pennymate A lot of your comments have been difficult to understand because it's not a reply to the comment you were replying to, or it was not in a complete sentence. That gets frustrating. But there is no threat of violence, and I don't see where anyone has called you named. It may not be peachy and nice, but it's certainly not bully behavior.

  • Let me bring up another point: If you are so confident that Atheism is true and therefore worthy of investigation, contemplation, etc, then why is it so hard for Atheists to simply make a videos dedicating entirely to promoting Atheism? Why does there always have to be Christian-bashing involved? If Atheism is correct then shouldn't you spend more of your time/energy PROMOTING something you believe in instead of trying to DISPROVE something you don't?

  • (continued from below): Therefore, the fact that Atheists seem to spend more of their time trying to disprove God/religion/etc instead of promoting Atheism causes me to conclude that, among other reasons, they are not as confident in their beliefs as they claim to be

  • @ImminentDeparture Like he said in the video, Christians are the predominant religion here and that's why we speak out against their oppressive belief that we are bad people. I would have no need to be so vocal against a peaceful religion like Buddhists, but your bible is full of hypocrisies and hatred.

  • @ImminentDeparture um, in a word :no. Atheists don't believe in anything, the term means LACK of any belief system. And I don't think atheists try and disprove God or christianity, rather they try and illuminate the fact that if you look at it with a rational, logical mind, then you'll see the absurdity of it.

  • @Kingding6: Believing there is no God is still a BELIEF. Whatever you want to call Atheism.

But how truly hypocritical, then, to "not believe in anything" (which means therefore that you don't acknowledge good and evil) and yet say Christianity is immoral. You by your own admission are immoral and yet you claim Christianity is immoral. Again, this is what's called "HYPOCRISY", my friends.

  • @ImminentDeparture I believe in science, reason and logic. These things have helped humanity progress into what we are today(for better or worse), what has religion and God given us? Bloodshed, war and false hope. And once again, atheism is, by definition, a lack of belief in any deity. I don't need to say I don't believe in unicorns, its simply implied, unless you are fucked.

  • @Kingding6 Well fucking said. Reminds me of a quote from Sam Harris: "In fact, "atheism" is a term that should not even exist. No one ever needs to identify himself as a "non-astrologer" or a "non-alchemist." We do not have words for people who doubt that Elvis is still alive or that aliens have traversed the galaxy only to molest ranchers and their cattle. Atheism is nothing more than the noises reasonable people make in the presence of unjustified religious beliefs."

  • @ImminentDeparture Again, why the fuck would you make comments on this video without taking the time to WATCH IT??? This video is entitled WHY I SPEAK OUT AGAINST RELIGION. So if you want to know why, watch the damn video!

  • @ImminentDeparture As I have pointed out in previous videos, evolution is a scientific theory composed of a plethera of facts to support it. Creationism has no such facts, cannot be tested, is no more than a bad hypothesis from thousands of years ago, and has NO place in public schools. So I speak out against religion because people like you don't understand how deeply the superstitions have rooted themselves. Thanks for watching.

  • Intresting opinions, awsome editing.

    Peace and pot

  • @thefallfever Thank you.

  • YOO THAT BANNER SHIT WENT DOWN IN MY SCHOOL, it was the most annoying shit. And they should've kept the banner the same. Who the fuck cares about a banner chillin in a auditorium, don't acknowledge it and let the ones who like it (whether for sentimental or religious purpose) enjoy it. It was a student made banner, put up by the students.

  • @OFWGKTADGAFwolf I don't think you understand what freedom of religion really means. It was a banner with religious superstitions. If it was a banner about school pride, or about RESPECTING everyone's beliefs, then it would have a place in public schools.

  • @OFWGKTADGAFwolf So if you went to that school, I have a specific question for you: Even if you think the banner should have remained up, how do you feel about the insults and hatred thrown at Jessica? How exactly would you defend christianity as being the moral high-ground, when people use it to justify bigotry?

  • lol AND THEN TEACHING THAT SHIT TO KIDS

  • exactly don't let orthers think and run your life! I went to church every Sunday,Wednesday growiing up. I think church is so gay!

  • seems to me that you have the problem with religion.i dont think youve been through enough hardships in life.when youve been through major problems and had no place to turn but God then you will learn. i think you are searching for something.you are still young bro and will go through alot of shit yet.peace
