The boat seems to be well balanced, I realize the sail plan is not that modest, what does she carry for sail area? What is the ideal weight with crew for this boat? Is it single or double trap?
We have never nose dived an Alpha F14 since we fitted the T foil rudders, and the cats have been really pushed well beyond the limits where they would nose dive before the T foils were added.
"T" foils on the lower extremety of the rudders reduces the effect of pitch dramatically. They also increase the overal sailing performance by maintaining the sail at a constant vertical angle of attack to the wind (mast and sail don't "rock" back and forth)

Nice tacks n jibes. Very long bows. Couldn't make out the rudder T foils on the flying hull sides though.

excellent video, do you have any nose-diving footage? those T-foils make the 14 look much more stable then my Taipan. I want one :)
