Beautifullady, I planted one little armenian cucumber plant about 6 weeks ago, and I still dont have any cucumber blooming, but the leaves are getting taller...I see you didnt put a trellis for your cucumbers, should I for my little plant? Also, what do you fertilize yours with and how often u water them???? Your garden is AWESOME, that is my dream to have one like yours, maybe a little smaller, good job, girl!

@helenita05 When i planted mine out of 6 plants i got one fruit. You dont have to use a trellis but you can i use 10-10-10 and till it in spring, with lime. I try to make sure the garden gets at least an inch of rain a week if not ill use a sprinkler. When the plants are young they require more attention untill the roots get established

how do you hold the gardeners fabric down? Some kind of pins?

yes, metal pins in the shape of a U. You can make your own using wire coat hangers, if you can find them anymore.

You are very kind sharing your gardening knowledges, your garden is beutifullady. I live in Westchester County NY, when or what month is better to start seeding or planting these vegetables. How you do, start from seed or already buy plants and wich one.
