Why is it necessary to strip from the waist when its the Mouth getting treated? Are there any guys allowed to work in radiotherapy anymore, seems a very sexist workplace.
hi I'm radiation therapy tech and i liked the machine it is soo different than what we have in saudi arabia good luck in ur treatment ..i know ur alot better now
@munitta9 hey this machine is probably an Elekta. how is it working in Saudi Arabia? i am in my final year of radiotherapy, just wanted to know if a non-arabic speaker would be able to work there?
Just watching this with music running in the background has a totally different feeling to it than watching it completely silent.I think if I was lying there on the table,i'd feel a lot better.Pretty neat therapy session imo.
If i'll EVER get cancer and will need radiotherapy treatment,i'll take some nice uplifting trance tunes with me and space off the table, seriously :P.
Thanks, for this vid.Really interesting to see this for the first time :)
I completely agree. The Leicester Royal Infirmary did a great job. It was evident that he background music in the radiotherapy suite helped your state of relaxation tremendously when you were faced with the situation of being bolted to a table with the radiotherapy mask on. (how daunting that must have been) I believe the hospital had feedback from their patients to indicate the same, that it provides a relaxing atmosphere in what would otherwise be a very tense environment
