MG's sound really good for their price. I mean cummon, a half-stack for less than $500, that's a great bargain. Plus, with the right amount of external EQ and gain via stompboxes, the MG100HDFX can sound very good. Not as good as a tube amp, surely. But still, great for the price.
Maybe it was just the one I had but these amps suck! Noisy, unreliable, stop working within an hour and the distortion isn't very heavy and I was using emgs so I know how heavy they should be

Honestly. Not bad for a practice amp. Beats my old little peavy SS. But other than that....nerw.

i hope they fixed that anoying volume drop. it sometimes drops randomly while playing and i know mine isnt the only one that does that
