Awesome Job! Have u ever tired any epiphone Les pauls like the epip standard. Not the cheapest one but the next one up. If so what do you think of them?
@27Sofia1 Lets do the math. The cheapest one in this condition I’ve seen is $15,000. 1 59 PAF is $3000, 2 is $6000. Plus upgrades, miscellaneous (parts, repairs, taxes, the fact that it was probably more than 15 by a bit) and shipping, probably about $25,000.
Langweilig?
I think it is Fleetwood Mac's "Need Your Love So Bad" (the progression of which they stole from somebody else, too) and Greg's improvisation owes a lot to Peter Green, too

all you ever do in these videos are soloing over blues backingtracks.. What about some serious cords in rock or early metal within your demonstrations?
That's not true, Malteboy777. Sometimes Greg plays jazz or 50's rock and roll. But I see your point. Greg doesn't seem to like a wide range of music, at least when he's playing, which is not a bad thing at all, contrary to popular belief. Everyone has their own tastes in music.

Yea ..? Okay, I know he does.. But I've only seen him solo over jazzy and bluesy backing tracks.. I just wan't to know how some serious powercords or open clean cords sounds like on those guitars..! Come on, you've gotta admit 10 or 12 videos in a row with soloing is really borring.. Don't you also wan't to know how a proper cord sounds on those things?! =)
I understand why you think his playing style is boring. Its probably because you have eclectic tastes. However, you have to remember that Greg's videos are not demos... They're just him playing his guitars in his own limited style. Once again, everyone has their own tastes in music.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
And I don't mind what style he is playing mann.. I like anything but techno and punk! =/ I just can't stand all that borring soloing all the time, what about all the awesome melodies you can make on spades like this?! =D
Ok, Malteboy. I've seen on your channel, that you are the guy who lurkes every video I do and give them 2 stars. Why do you do that? You will find millions of other videos here on youtube wich provides your taste of music. And you do videos too. Do you want to get 2 stars everytime for your videos everytime you do a video?
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
What?! No! I think you're a great guitar player, It's just what I think of yor videos!? If that's what you think of my videos, then rate 2 stars also.. I'm just saying there's missing some cords and melodies, that ALL you play is soloing..! Yea it sounds great, but 10 videos in a row in my subscribtion box with soloing only gets somewhat borring mann..! I'm just saying, and I'm just rating what I think.. If you have a problem with your consumers apinnions, then don't upload rate-able videos!
I will do the stuff I do, I will play solos on the upcoming videos too.... so you better don't subscibe my (free) videos if you wann hear things I don't do.
It dosen't matter what you play or what you play on, as long as it sounds great! And I could def. consider play metal on that guitar! No problems there..
I didn't say it did, but be honest most metal players some form of pointy looking guitar not traditional guitar shapes. Im not saying you can't buy Dime Razorback and play Jazz, but most people in certain genres stick to certain guitar buying niches.
If you don't like the soloing in Greg's videos simply don't watch them. Many people like it and I could listen to him solo all day. Plus if you watch some more of his videos you'd notice he often opens with chords for looping his BTs.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
I rate what i watch, because I can, because people obviously wan't feedback right!? It's not my fault that he's too fast to draw stupid conclutions of why I rate his videos as i do.. I have nothing against him, but he's starting to make this a hard situation! He has to understand that it's not because i have anything against him, merely just because I think his demo-videos could be more allround then just soloing (because that's what I've seen, and that's why I have this apinnion of mine!) !?!
That's wrong with the guitar market now. Everybody thinks "vintage" is the way to go although they don't play music that made the "vintage" instruments famous. Greg plays "vintage" guitars through a modern preamp arrangement but it goes into a "vintage" Fender tube amp. Metal on that guitar wouldn't be what you would expect out of a humbucker.
I'd love to see a stop frame slideshow of that guitars life. And play it just once.

Its a fairly common chord progression in blues. Sounds like "Aint nobody's bizness" ala Freddie King style too
