There was an adapter that could play regular lateral groove records. You simply removed the one piece Edison Vertical Groove Tone arm and reproducer, and then inserted the lateral groove tone arm and lateral groove reproducer and you were in business. after 1929 were these players considered obsolete
or did they have some type of adaptor to play
standard records?
