how did you attach the 100 cuz I'm upgrading boards and CPU... switching from 1566 760i5 to a 2600K, and i have an air cooler on mine the thermaltakefrio but i wanna switch to something cooler. Do you think the second 200mm fan would block the radiator cuz i have 2??

Hi , not sure if you remember my post a few weeks back , but just thought i would share my results with you , i got my h100 a few days back and i did what i reccomended to you , i removed the top case fan and i put it onto the side blowing inwards ( the h100 fans draw air from inside the case so this is feeding cool air for it ) my i7 2600 is currently at 4.4ghz with a idle temp of 20-25 and the h100 is set to the 2nd speed tbh i could prob turn it down as i havent noticed it speeding up at all.

just wonder why did you leave the 200 mm exhaust fan at the top? i also have a phantom xase and are there any radiator mounting holes because i'm planning to get custom water cooling for my commputer thanx for reply

That one sweet system. Looks like this summer was the time to get new computers for most people. I know a lot of people who bought new computers this year during the summer and even I purchased a Mac Pro.

Im considering the h100 aswell , and i also have a nzxt phantom , not actually taken it apart yet to play around but was wondering if you had considered removing the top fan for a better fit for the h100 ? seeing as your over lapping it anyway im sure its not as effective as it should be. if you have tried this and it failed for any reason could you let me know ? would save me a lot of hassle when i get round to installing my own, thx and great vid.

@davidlloyd83 the cpu fans pushes the air to the the top fan and it sucks out the hot air. my idle temp is on 35C on lowest and 40 on highest core atm. on 4.2ghz

Hi bloodspiller30. I really need your help because only you can answer my question. I am also going to get a Phantom and install a Corsair H100 at the top. But I would like to purchase the Mushkin Redline series of RAM sticks, which to not have protruding ribs at the top. I think they will fit with the rad in place. But would you please tell me the dimensions of your RAM sticks, specifically the width? Are they one of those really wide Dominator RAM sticks?

@shox007 all DDR3 RAM chips are the same lengt. So if your motherboard uses DDR3 ram, all DDR3 ram chips should fit. It's only the height that can be different. like if u have cooling ribs on the top, like I did. so were you woundering how how tall/high my cooling ribs were?

@bloodspiller30 Yep. How "high" is your RAM from the edge with the electrical contacts to the edge with the ribs?

Hardware is my favoritest section mate, I like videos like this one! Nice music in background also! I am looking forward to buy Asus Crosshair Formula V motherboard, it's pretty sweet board, but I need also make a huge upgrade (from ddr2 to ddr 3, next cpu coming soon, etc.) Thanks for all dude! :-)
