This is very good. You draw in so many styles. Even if you don't pursue art, I still think you're very talented. I can only vary a little from my original style, which drives my art teacher nuts when she tries to get me to try a style completely differant than my own. XP
Aw, thank you. I wish I had more time in art class in high school, but I went into the work program and could only take the required classes I needed to graduate. Had to quit my art class. Too bad I couldn't have traded gym class for art, haha!
Thanks for the fave! I wish I would have stuck to art and kept at it more steadily. I end up getting bored of one thing so I can't draw more than one of something without feeling the need to move on before I've even come close to mastering it, lol!
(Sorry I keep posting on my other name. Too lazy to log out and back in.)
The bamboo was pretty much a one (well, two) time thing. I don't really have patience for things so if I can't get it looking semi-decent the first try, I tend to give up. I mainly just draw when I feel inspired, which isn't too often, and just for fun.
I always liked bamboo. Our neighbour has it in his back yard and I love how it sways in the breeze and houses little critters. It's so pretty.
Nah, hon. Don't worry about that. Plenty of people use models and references. I think I know what you mean about wanting to be able to do something from your own mind or memory, but even in cases like that it's still perfectly acceptable to have reference pictures. If people were all supposed to draw without models, we wouldn't have those little posing dolls and those college art classes that hire nude models to hold grapes and crap like that. n.n
I'm a big lover of Beethoven. I'm so tempted to draw that on a BIG piece of paper for my wall but I don't really have the space and drawing a larger scale version might throw me off.
I was toying around with the tutorial on the "Solitude" one and came up with that. Basically it was just the sky, land and cattails and I threw a Herman in there to suit my desktop.

Nice work, Lisa! Happy bunny rocks! And great song! I wanted the "Lost Boys" soundtrack just to get that song when it came out.
