Well I was a smart alick kid in junior high and my uncle was beating on me. So I called my dad and he was there in a minute. He was in Vietnam and nothing scared him. I'll never understand how a man can be like he was.

I lost my dad in 2010..I miss him very much and I never stop thinking about my dad. he was very special for me and I appreciated him very much he was a great father.. and I kno i'am only 12 but the time when he was with me was very special and were the best years of my life. The worst thing is that he died one day after my B-day.. I like this song and I love Chord Overstreet, Paul Overstreet's son. Every time I hear this song I think of my adopted Dad who passed away in January of '95 even though he is gone he is dearly missed. In December of '91 on his birthday I got my license and he told me that was one of the best presents he could have gotten. I miss you Dad!!!

Danielle, my Dad raised two sons. Me and my brother Jimmy. Jimmy was from Mom's first marriage. She married Dad when Jimmy was four. When Jimmy turned 16 (I think) he went down without telling anyone and changed his last name to Dad's as a birthday present to Dad. Jimmy and I got into an argument once when we teenagers and I said, "Well, you're not really Daddy's son", out of pure meanness. I'm 58 now and Jimmy is 62 and I NEVER made that mistake again, heh.
